The focus in my yoga classes is on the development of a positive body awareness through a dynamic and powerful Ashtanga practice – to sense one’s own body in entirely new and subtle ways – and how this sense of awareness within our bodies effects our lives. In my yoga classes I am teaching the students 'the Primary Ashtanga Series of Ashtanga Yoga .' I am guiding them through their breathing, focu
ssing on body alignment and 'hands on’ for corrections. For me yoga means cultivating a mindful way of treating ourselves, seizing the day stress-free, taking on the challenges that life brings with bravery and strength, and fully experiencing each moment – being present in the here and now. As well as teaching yoga, I also work as a physiotherapist in Berlin. I teach yoga classes in both German and English. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2017 with Rocky Heron at the YogaCircleAkademie in Berlin, after having completed my professional Physiotherapy education 2013-2017 in Leipzig. I taught yoga alongside my Physiotherapy training, and I visited various workshops in Thai Yoga Massage with Falko Kretschmer, as well as Yoga Workshops with Michael Stewart, where I met my inspirational yoga teachers Michael Stewart, Rocky Heron, and others, whom I thank wholeheartedly. 200h certified Yoga Alliance and BDY Yoga Teacher at YogaCircleAcademie Berlin.
