A word with massive weight, rendered in a heavy, dark calligraphy . I wanted to fuse the elegant soul of Persian script with a sharp, aggressive edge — creating a stark contrast that commands attention from across the room.

This one hits different.

A map of Iran shaped by mountains and memory, with Damavand standing tall in the distance and a crow watching over it all. For my client, this piece represents home, the one that lives in your chest even when you’re far away.

when the concept carries this much weight, You feel it. You pour everything into it.

To be away from your country while watching everything unfold back home… the ache is heavy.

The love is heavier. This tattoo is for every quiet moment of longing, every wave of worry, and every stubborn hope that refuses to leave.

🌫️ Between every inhale and the moment you become… this is where the ink finds its pulse.

This one is a journey of pure blackwork that starts just below the knee and spirals all the way to the ankle like a living breath made visible. a custom calligraphy piece built around one ancient word that refuses to stay silent: نفس.
At its core, nafas means breath — the raw life-force that keeps the universe moving through your lungs.
Nafs is the self, the ego, the soul — the quiet mirror of everything you are when the noise drops away.
You’ll find this single word threading through Arabic, Persian, Turkish (nefes), Urdu, Hindi, Malay (nafas), Pashto, Kurdish, Swahili… always carrying the same sacred trinity: breath, life, soul. It’s the space between silence and becoming. The inhale before the story begins.

I obsessed over the calligraphy for weeks. Every curve, every sharp flourish, every negative space was drawn by hand first!traditional Arabic/Persian script re-imagined as flowing blackwork that follows the natural lines of the leg instead of fighting them. The top section feels almost like smoke rising, the middle twists like DNA made poetry, and the bottom anchors with that bold, symmetrical motif that plants you firmly on the earth while the rest of the piece reaches upward.
I treat these pieces like sacred geometry✨every session is part ritual, part meditation, part endurance test for both of us. The client and I sat through long hours while this design literally grew down the leg. projects like this takes weeks of prep, multiple sessions, and my complete presence. I don’t rush these. I don’t mass-produce them.

✨All good things take time✨

There is a specific kind of patience required for pieces like this. I love working on commissions that allow me to dive deep into the geometry and the fine details, it’s a slow process, but seeing the vision gradually sharpen into focus makes every hour worth it.
While I’m focused on finishing these current projects, I’m also getting my schedule ready for the next few weeks.

⟡ Second session on this piece ⟡

⟡One of my favourite wanna dos, a face emerging from a carved, symmetrical frame, with organic textures flowing into geometric anchors. Today’s focus was tightening the mid-tones in the portrait, pushing the warm underglow in the skin, and reinforcing the outer shapes with heavier saturation so the center feels like it’s “breathing.”

⟡Next session, will add the external layers: secondary textures, micro-details, and directional shading around the borders to make the whole piece sit deeper on the calf and give the portrait more depth and movement. As well as textures below and above the Rǔne.
