Sorry, this post has been sitting on my phone for way too long. đŤŁ
đЏI asked women about their cycle. I wasnât prepared for what they said.
Not because it was shocking. Because it was so familiar.
âNot good. Disconnected.â
âThe pain kills me.â
âI donât feel like the world allows me to have my period.â
âMy gynecologist told me thatâs just how it is.â
These are not rare cases. These are everyday experiences that millions of women are quietly carrying. Alone. Often convinced itâs normal. Often told itâs normal.
I started asking these questions because Iâve been there myself. Losing my period, not understanding what my body was trying to tell me, trying things that didnât work, feeling like something was fundamentally wrong with me.
Nothing was wrong with me. I just didnât have the right support yet.
If any of these words sound like yours, I want you to know something. It doesnât have to stay this way. And you are not alone in this.
Save this and send it to a woman who needs to hear it.
