Are you in touch with the younger version of yourself? With the little boy or girl inside of you? If not, we would love to encourage you to make this contact now.
Because there is nothing more fulfilling than being deeply and intimately connected and friends with your own inner child.
Exercise of the day:
• Go to a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Sit up straight, close your eyes and breath deeply a couple times.
• Bring attention and energy to your 2nd chakra, deep in your stomach, below the navel.
• And then visualize a younger version of yourself. Approach this exercise calmly. Let your imagination run free. Have no expectations and just let whatever wants to appear emerge.
• First of all, imagine this child. How old is it inside you? What clothes is it wearing? What does the surrounding look like? What is it doing right now? How is it feeling?
• And if you want to go one step further, then talk to your inner child. A simple "Hello, inner child. How are you today?" is often enough to start a dialogue.
• A very good question you can always use is: "Is there anything you need from me right now?". This can be loving and supportive words, a hug (you can hug a pillow as a substitute) or simply protection from something. When you are finished with this dialogue, thank your inner child.
We recommend doing this on a regular basis to strengthen the connection to your inner child and to let this child know that it is not alone. Because that is what most inner children feel...
