I devoted my Master’s graduation project to the subject of gynecological and obstetrical violences, creating «Vers une Pratique Gynéco Éthique» (“Towards Ethical Gynecological Practice”), an event aimed at raising awareness and training the next generation of healthcare professionals in gynecological and obstetrical violences in a non-stigmatizing way. The event consists of a week of conferences and workshops to understand and identify such violence.

Thesis, Towards an Endemic Design : Situated and Committed Practices

This thesis explores the figure of the endemic designer, an approach that could help reconcile living beings with their environment confronted to current ecological and social challenges. The endemic designer is characterized by their ability to become rooted in a territory, taking into account its local dynamics and valuing the knowledge and resources of its surroundings. By relying on related practices such as farmer design, social co-design, and in-situ design, these approaches also help to define the practice of endemic design, offering sustainable solutions adapted to local realities. Through this process, the endemic designer could act as a mediator, fostering respectful relationships between humans and non-humans, and promoting harmony within the local ecosystem.

OTRIEA Project by .studio ⛓️‍💥
skin reached out to us in such an open and trusting way, and that first gesture still brings back many warm memories. From the very beginning, the collaboration felt more like
a dialogue than a brief — a shared exploration of what their brand could become.
Otriea is a skincare company rooted in nature. Their formulas are crafted from wild-harvested or organic ingredients, with a deep focus on oils and botanicals. This connection
to the earth naturally shaped our design approach: a palette of muted, earthy tones that carry the quiet strength of nature.
Ritual is at the heart of their philosophy. To honor this, we created a set of symbols — almost like clay sculptures — that were then reimagined in the digital space.
Typography also plays an essential role: a thoughtful mix of fonts that convey both strength and elegance, echoing the ethereal power of the ingredients themselves.
The visual world of Otriea is calm and understated, but never flat. There is depth, there is resonance, and there is a quiet force that mirrors the essence of their products
— and of Otriea itself.

We defined text and visual hierarchy, built a design code for upcoming sub-projects, and shaped a flexible system to connect their products. We also worked on other Abyss products that we’ll showcase in future posts.

A mentoring project created by .ilya ⛓️‍💥

This project grew into something multilayered — with its own ideas, features, and character. The long process helped reveal the core concept: clothing that can be tailored for you, a rare and genuinely alive idea.

We built everything from the ground up: the visual identity, interface, and content, including pieces generated with AI. The branding and digital presence formed a cohesive, expressive look — a design language based on clarity, gentle plasticity, and a quiet sense of precision. It reflects the company’s key principle: anyone can tailor any piece to their fit, free of charge.

A full branding system and a customization interface were developed for the project.
