Say hi to Gerrit, our new intern this semester, joining us from Aachen!
Always up for fun and giving his 100%, Gerrit believes everything is better with the right people and if there’s a challenge, he’s in.
He’s been studying Product Design at FH Aachen since 2022 and is currently in his fourth year of his Bachelor’s degree. Curious about almost every area of product design, he loves exploring the field in its full variety. During an exchange semester in Budapest, he enjoyed the city’s energy, international community, and especially the castle overlooking the city, where parties came with unforgettable views across Budapest. A refreshing change from his hometown Duisburg.
An outdoor enthusiast from an early age, Gerrit enjoys hiking, camping, and spontaneous adventures with friends. His spontaneous nature often leads to funny (and sometimes extreme) situations, like expecting warm weather in Mallorca in February and ending up surrounded by 1.5 meters of snow.
Sports play a big role in his life too, from years of badminton to trying everything from kung fu to football. But one of the biggest challanges: a 100-kilometre walk around Cologne, completed in 22 hours straight with a friend, exhausting, but worth it.
Driven by curiosity and fun, Gerrit loves ideation and sketching, creating products that are both exciting and meaningful. What drew him to Noto was the creative environment and the strong focus on form, purpose, and possibility. We’re excited to have his energy and drive on the team! ✨
