While on my summertour, I had the pleasure of doin this ornamental freehand piece for a friend beside an beautiful fjord in sweden!

The inspiration is from levantine art, at the los chaparros site in spain, datin back over 6000 years.

I tried to mimic the esthetic of the original one, by altering the density and size of the dotwork.

What's also super interesting to see, is the similarities to patterns still in use nowadays, reinvented or never died out in diffrent cultures?

Did a little deer for him, snuggling smoothly into the gap on the leg.
Do you see the antler? Yes it's done with incision using flint!

Spirals are everywhere in bronze age art and even beyond!
This sacred symbol is all around still in the modern times.

During an amazing gathering in Vitlycke museum
I did this freehand triple spirals inspired by the amazing bronze jewelry evidences!

Was such a blast, inkin a fellow history nerd at this special location!
Look at this supercool jewelry and the string skirt!
Wow!

You can also see two ships I did last year in tanum!

I had the pleasure of visiting Balder Andersen
in norway and execute this 'little' blastover/coverup piece.

It includes some ancestral stripes in circular motion. Also lunar stripes, representing the lifecycle of deer, done with flint incision.
And of course a big forest goddess inspired by cucuteni-tripilliya figurines datin back over 7000 years into the neolithic times in Romania/Ukraine.

Was such a fun session freehanding this piece and doin such an figure with magnum-needles the first time!
Its always an honor when someone just trusts my scribbls right away and just let me execute my brain! Thx!

During inkandneedletattooconvention
I had the pleasure of freehanding this sunwheel thighband!
To tie the wheel around, I used the famous 'goldhats' from northern bronze age Germany as inspiration.
Love how this piece gives warrior vibes to my amazin client!

Auch dieses Jahr werde ich an den Wikingertagen im wunderschönen AFM Oerlinghausen teilnehmen!

Wie gehabt werde ich meine Künste als tätowierer ganz traditionell ohne Maschine anbieten.
Motive von der Steinzeit bis ins Frühmittelalter und auch der ein oder andere Ausflug ins isländische Galdr.

Für die ganz mutigen werd ich auch Feuerstein dabei haben, und damit durch Schnitte und Farbe einreiben Muster für die Ewigkeit zu machen, so wie vermutlich bereits weit vor unserer Fundlage.

Natürlich werden ich Flashbooks dabei haben, aber um definitiv ein Tattoo mit nach Hause zu nehmen, schnappt euch am besten einen der wenigen Spots vorab!
