Bolt cutter on the calf — a quiet symbol of breaking what was meant to hold forever.
Heavy lines, blacked-out contour, clean and deliberate.
Sometimes a tattoo isn’t decoration — it’s a small rebellion carved into skin.
Cut the chains. Walk forward. 🖤

A picture — and one drawn with markers and liners, without any sketch beforehand.
Honestly, it turned out strange, but I didn’t know how to draw it, so I just did the best I could.
I went with whatever came to mind.
At least this time, surprisingly, I managed to keep the perspective within acceptable limits.
I don’t remember who taught me perspective, but whoever it was — thank you. Truly and wholeheartedly.

A little keychain 🥰
I couldn’t get the original idea down even at the sketch stage, so this is what it turned into. Honestly, it came out pretty nice — but to make it look presentable, I had to refine it over the acrylic with markers and liners.
Of course, there’s no real perspective or light-and-shadow here again, but this was one of the very first pieces I ever drew. So I’m officially allowing myself these mistakes. Some things are better left as they are — as a record of where the journey started.

A painting inspired by a piece of graffiti.
The idea grabbed me instantly — street art has this rare kind of honesty, when an image speaks faster than words. I didn’t try to copy it literally; instead, I translated the mood from the language of the wall into the language of canvas. It turned out, I think, quite well — with its own character and its own rough edges.
I painted it in acrylic, working in layers, sometimes arguing with myself, sometimes agreeing without a fight. In some places I allowed myself to move away from the original, because the canvas clearly asked for a different solution. In others, I stayed close to the graffiti so as not to lose the original pulse of the piece.

I painted this piece… well, kind of on a whim.
Although, to be fair, there was a plan — and I actually followed it 😂
This might be my most successful color combination so far.
At least the fire, the smoke, and everything in between
turned out exactly the way I imagined it.
Sometimes intuition knows the route better than logic.

Dove of peace.
For those who notice more than one layer.
Probably the lightest piece in this exhibition in terms of feeling —
and at the same time one of the longest to make.
Not counting Cheshire, of course.
Drawn with markers on unprimed canvas.
An interesting detail: on unprimed canvas the markers don’t bleed,
but the overlapping areas become much more visible.
You can see the decisions clearly.
Sometimes a simple form carries the heaviest meaning.
And that is enough.

Those who remember this toy — drop a “+”! 😁
…I’m not going to comment much on it.
It will simply exist here.
Acrylic on canvas.
The stripes are there because the paint decided to run away.
It took a long time to dry.
The contrast worked.
That’s it.
Behind this toy is a very long journey.
It crossed oceans and borders, changed countries and eras, passed through decades that were anything but gentle.
It has seen too much for something so small and silent.
It survived moves, losses, long roads without stops, suitcases packed in a hurry, unfamiliar rooms, and the strange feeling of always being “on the way.”
It traveled from hand to hand, from place to place, carrying memory instead of luggage.
There is a lot of pain behind it, and just as much endurance.
But this painting is not about tragedy.
It’s about persistence.
About objects that become witnesses.
About how something fragile can last longer than circumstances, borders, or time itself.
It’s just a toy.
And at the same time — not “just” anything.

This…
Well, it was difficult.
I lost everything I could here: perspective, light and shadow, the colors themselves, even the texture.
And yet — this is still not abstraction. I almost wish I were Van Gogh… 😅
Painting this place was extremely, extremely important to me. But what came out… I wanted to burn it.
As they say, fire cleanses… the world of idiotic talents.
But no. This was meant for an exhibition that never happened.
And then a guy told me I wasn’t allowed to burn my own work.
So I won’t. Here we are.
Dissatisfied.
