๐Ÿš€ We have great news!

In this study, our VivaScopeยฎ 2500 technology enabled rapid assessment of fresh ultrasound-guided kidney biopsies in 50 patients (C. Re, et al. Eur Urol Oncol 2025). A provisional diagnosis was obtained immediately in 48 cases. The method achieved a sensitivity of 94% and a specificity of 100% for the detection of malignancy. Complete agreement with final pathology was observed in 91.7% of cases.

The CkOSMIC pathway significantly reduced the time to treatment decision, from 55 to 25 days overall and from 24 days after biopsy to the same day.

These findings suggest that this one-stop clinic model has the potential to become a new standard for renal mass biopsy and may also be applicable to other cancers, such as breast and urological malignancies.
