The universe sent me the same message twice today. 🦌🦌

Two baby deer stood quietly on the path as if they were waiting to be noticed.

Maybe the message is that peace isn’t something we have to find. It’s something we have to slow down enough to see.

I almost didn’t take this path.

It wasn’t part of the plan, but something told me to see where it led.

At the very end, I spotted this peacock. When he started shaking his feathers, I thought he was trying to scare me away.

Later, I realized he wasn’t warning me at all.

He was showing off.

A reminder that some of life’s best surprises are waiting down paths we almost don’t take.

Today I took a detour.

I usually run right past this bridge without a second thought.

Today, I stopped.

Just the river moving beneath me.

Funny how sometimes the peace we’re looking for isn’t somewhere new. It’s hiding in the places we rush past every day.

I could not believe this sound was coming from the middle of Madrid.

I was out for a run when I heard what sounded like an entire forest waking up around me.

I stopped running. I stopped thinking about pace. I just stood there listening.

What amazed me most wasn’t the birds. It was where they were.

Hidden inside one of Europe’s largest cities was a chorus of birds so beautiful that I had to stop and simply take it in.
