Schon seit der Steinzeit schmückt sich der Mensch nicht nur mit Bemalungen und Piercings, sondern auch mit Farbe unter der Haut. Designs und Techniken haben sich im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt. Begleitet uns und erlebt die Kunst des puren Tätowierens, ganz ohne Maschine. Traditionelle Techniken treffen auf moderne Umsetzung und Hygiene, denn auf Infektionen wollen wir doch besser verzichten. Inspiri

ert von den ursprünglichen Designs unserer Ahnen, gestalten unsere Künstler individuelle Tattoos. In der stimmigen Kulisse des AFM Oerlinghausen nehmen wir euch mit auf die Reise von Nadel und Tinte, durch die Epochen. Zelebriert mit uns die Körperkunst, die unter die Haut geht. Die Künstler werden demnächst bekannt gegeben.

Tattoos are a modern thing, right? People have been decorating themselves not only with paintings and piercings, but also with color under the skin since the Stone Age. Designs and techniques have evolved over time. Join us and experience the art of pure tattooing, without a machine. Traditional techniques meet modern realization and hygiene, because we want to avoid infections. Inspired by the original designs of our ancestors, our artists create individual tattoos. In the atmospheric setting of the AFM Oerlinghausen, we will take you on a journey of needle and ink through the ages. Celebrate with us the body art that gets under your skin.

You may have noticed there hasn’t been any news about 2026 yet. Unfortunately, there will be no Echoes of Ink in 2026 due to scheduling issues, location difficulties, and some personal challenges this year.
However, Echoes of Ink will return in 2027.
We’re using 2026 to rethink, refine, and rebuild - with the goal of making the next Echoes even bigger, better, and more special than ever.
Your feedback means a lot to us. Let us know what you loved about the last two years, what could be improved, and what you’d like to see in the future. While we can’t promise to implement everything, we’re open to your ideas.
We’ll see some of you on the road in 2026,
and hopefully all of you at Echoes of Ink 2027.

We’re excited to welcome an artist whose work brings the oldest forms of expression back to life. Your chance to really see and feel the beautiful craftsmanship of earlier times.
From personal symbols to echoes of prehistoric rock art - whether you're carving your own motif or choosing a traditional one, this is art in its most raw and honest form.

A drum is more than sound - it's a heartbeat, a bridge, a companion.
On Friday, 11.07. at 16:00, the wonderful will guide a deeply rooted, hands-on workshop at Echoes of Ink where you can build your own shamanic drum - from frame to skin, with intention, connection, and ancestral rhythm.
This is an intimate experience with limited space:
