Seit 12.08.2026 ist mein Versand in die EU der
Regulierungswut der Bürokraten zum Opfer gefallen.
Wir müssten uns nun für jedes der 27 Länder kostenpflichtig lizenzieren und im jedem der Länder einen Bevollmächtigten beauftragen.
Gut 300 Euro plus bürokratischem Aufwand kostet das pro Land, Jahr für Jahr.
Kein kleiner Händler in der EU hat zeitlich und finanziell die Ressourcen dafür.
Für jede meiner verschiedenen Verpackungen müsste ich zudem eine Konformitätserklärung beim Lieferanten einholen.
"PPWR" (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) nennt sich dieses neue EU-Verpackungsverordnungs Monster,
was für kommerziellen Versand aus und in alle EU Länder gilt.
Übrig bleiben nach diesem Ausschlussverfahren nur die Großen, die sich das leisten können
und die hier sicher gute Lobbyarbeit für ihre Pfründe gemacht haben.

As of August 12, 2026, shipping to the EU has fallen victim
to the bureaucrats' regulatory zeal.
We would now have to obtain a paid license for each of the 27 countries
and appoint an authorized representative in every one of them.
This costs a good 300 euros p.a. per country, plus the administrative overhead.
No small merchant in the EU has the time or financial resources for this.
On top of that, I would have to obtain a declaration of conformity from the supplier
for each of my various types of packaging.
This new EU packaging regulation monster is known as the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation);
it applies to commercial shipments to and from all EU countries.
The only ones left standing after this process of elimination are the big players who can afford it—
and who have surely lobbied effectively to protect their turf.
