The final Full Moon of May rises as a Blue Moon — one of the rarest lunar events in the modern calendar. After this, there will not be another monthly Blue Moon until December 2028.

That alone changes the feeling around it.

A Blue Moon occurs when two Full Moons rise within the same calendar month. It does not appear blue in color. The name comes from old folklore used to describe something uncommon — something outside the natural rhythm people expected from the sky.

And rare celestial events have always carried a different energy.

Not louder.
Deeper.

This Moon arrives at the very end of May like the closing page of a chapter.

The first Full Moon of the month — the Flower Moon — carried the energy of growth, attraction, fertility, and expansion. But the Blue Moon shifts the atmosphere entirely.

This is where the cycle turns inward.

The light of the Blue Moon feels colder. Sharper. More revealing. It illuminates what has lingered too long and what has quietly reached completion beneath the surface.

Not every ending arrives dramatically.

Some endings arrive with clarity. 🌑✨
