This year, I’ve decided to start a collection for families and children in need.🤶🤶🤶
Every Christmas since I moved from Colombia, seeing the focus on buying things people don’t need has made me feel sick. I am blessed with a good life, but my heart is heavy seeing such waste when others have nothing. Many would call me privileged, and in a way, that’s true. Yet, living in a privileged bubble brings its own difficulty—it’s easy to become numb to the world’s harsh realities just outside our bubble.😔😔
That’s why I’m teaching my children the value of giving. Together, we are collecting donations to support families and children living in extreme conditions in Soacha, Colombia. I don’t have a lot of money or patience for bureaucracy and their rules!!but I have a voice and I will always use for a good cause.✊✊🗣️
I want my children chía and Xué to see beyond our bubble, to understand the real world, and to discover the transformative power of direct generosity. Despite everything that’s going nuts in this world, I still believe in humanity.🙏🔥
