Diabetes is often framed around glucose, but its treatment may have consequences far beyond blood sugar.
In a network meta-analysis of 7.1 million patients across 46 studies, researchers found that the class of glucose-lowering drug may also influence the risk of cirrhosis, liver cancer, and liver-related death.
