I have a personal tradition: every year in late September, while everyone else is switching to autumn mode, I head to the sea to prolong my summer.
In body therapy, we experience the exact same thing. After a one-hour massage, my clients often say, "I wish I had another 30 minutes!"
We naturally want to stay in a state where we feel safe and deeply relaxed. But what usually happens next?
Most people immediately grab their phones, step into the noise of the city, and rush off to work. Ten minutes later, all that relaxation is gone.
This is why I always advise extending the feeling after a massage: don't rush off. Take 10 to 15 minutes to sit with a cup of tea, breathe, and let your body fully absorb that peaceful feeling.
What about you—after a relaxing break or a massage, do you rush straight back into busy mode, or do you take a pause?
