SPOTLESS
Our skin produces oils to protect itself, and sometimes it produces too much. We isolated sebaceous glands, the ones producing these oils in the skin, and grew them in the laboratory to see exactly how much they produced. Then we measured the effects of herbs that could help to regulate this production, and inula was the most effective. The next step was to find a herb that could help our bodies fight germs that like to grow in these oils. In the Galilee mountains there’s a plant called soap wort, which contains sapponin. Since germs hate sapponin, soap wort is very good at keeping the skin clean. Finally, we use lemon to protect the skin.
