They did not count reps, they did not measure their best time, count calories, or measure the size of their biceps.

Only had half an hour today.
But something is always better than nothing.

Decided to go all in on the planting of them agile bamboo legs. The intention is to build legs that contra the tree trunk legs will bent but not break in storms of life.

(These monsters are males, but should not be confused with MEN.
And do not deserve the title of being called a man)

To all MEN who might see this. Stay aware, stay vigilant, call out any inappropriate behaviour, you experience, in your everyday life, no matter if it’s packed into humour, if it’s your bro, or whatever.

There are no excuses and when behavior goes unchallenged
Our silence can be perceived as approval. And their predatory poison will grow and spread.

Also acknowledging that if we let there be silence, we are passively participating in this despicable, monstrous unmanly behaviours.

HUNT OF THE DAY

As my secondary activity I went out to hunt the 64 kilo Kettle Bell.

Went in to test the swings. Went good and strong. Didn’t get thrown on my nose.

And then tested a double grip clean and fu***ng got it.

I’m blown away by how well my body executes these days. So bloody grateful, as being able to tend to my physical health is making a major difference for my mental health. It always did.

I took up barbell squats for the first time since 2020.
Since then I’ve been squatting with rocks, sandbags and kettle bells.

Was interesting to get back under the bar. In 2020 was when both my knees exploded and I couldn’t get into any flexion of the knee joint at all. That over the years… 6 years!!! F**k!!
Has developed to a good knee flexion, but if I go too deep, I can’t kneel for instance, my knees snap and I’m out of the game for days.

If you are feeling stuck, down or even worse, movement is the first step to regain your mental health and wealth.
Be clever, start simple and approachable, and build up.

-Breakfast

Opposite to most modern fitness professionals, I don’t count my, fat, protein, carbohydrates when I plan and eat.
There is nothing wrong in doing so and it certainly serves a purpose.

It’s simply not my approach to supporting my physical, mental and spiritual health and growth.

I don’t believe our ancestors were counting their macros either and they were well fu***ng healthy as modern day athletes.

My approach to nutrition is to keep it as simple and as clean as possible.

To avoid processed sugar and basically sugar at all cost, when not in the shape of honey.

Mostly combining: meat of all sorts; fish, bird, mammals, with fruits, nuts, honey

Aiming to eat till 80% full, avoiding to feel stuffed.

That’s it… As simple as it gets. This nutrition provides me with, strength, power and energy and is easy and fast to make.

This breakfast contains of:

-Apple w. Peanut butter and honey.
-Ground beef
-Eggs fried in the fat from the beef.

I share the principles of Hunters Nutrition, with purpose, NOT called a diet or the one truth.

It’s a nutrition approach based on a modern conversion of the knowledge we have of what our ancestors had available and what they rised and thrived on eating.

Our bodies are the exact same design as 50.000 years ago. Meaning, our bodies are designed to thrive on the food available 50.000 years ago, and not the toxins we are mainly being taught today are foods, if we enter a supermarket or grocery store.

My experiences and knowledge are mine and are shared as inspiration, not as a proclamation of what is best for you.

Never follow no idea blindly.

This is simply one approach among many.

It’s simple, raw, nutritious, delicious and supports our natural human design.

Our ancestors had to hunt for food!
We have to hunt for nutrition!
Read that again!

I often hear: “I don’t t eat as healthy as I should because I don’t have much time to cook”

I hear you. But here is the thing. It doesn’t take time to prepare delicious, nourishing, non processed nutrition.

This plate took me 11 minutes all in all to prepare.

In this case it was breakfast.

This kind of breakfast keeps me energised, light & focused far into the day.

The principals of this kind of cooking is easily adapted to lunch and dinner as well.

Recipe:
Not much explanation needed.

1: Stake, eggs, salmon, apples, dates, coconut oil, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds

Leaves you energised & light on you feet. Ready to hunt.
