The last 1,5 weeks I have been collecting fallen leaves and throwing bowls in New Zealand, following 岩見 晋介 for his workshops, demo and talk at Nelson Clay Week and Driving Creek
I've met many wonderful people and it's been an absolutely amazing time. Looking forward to the last five days on the north island 🤎

Hello from Japan! 🤍
Under 岩見 晋介 expert guidance, I'm working on my project, 'A Ceramic Study in Rural Japan near Mashiko'

It's about Japanese ceramics and culture, with a special focus on understanding of materials and traditional firing techniques.

Through the project, I want to gain greater insight on how I can manipulate the clay as little as possible during the throwing process to preserve its raw and immediate expression.

In the beginning of December we will wood fire the work in Iwami's anagama kiln 🔥

The first time here has been spent collecting local materials, preparing clays and ash, making tools for throwing and visiting various exhibitions 🤎

I'm very grateful for the project to be supported by

Back in the studio after a wonderful market at Museum Jorn. Thank you to everyone who came by the markets during the summer and supported my small businesses! It means the world! 🤎
The studio is open today, tomorrow and Friday from 1pm-5pm (13-17).
This is the last chance to visit as I unfortunately have to move out.

In September I'm leaving for Japan to work at 岩見 晋介 until mid-December. I'm really looking forward to this - more on that later 🗾

Thank you to everyone who came by Skals Højskole last weekend and thank you to for once again arranging a wonderful market in beautiful surroundings ☀️

This year's theme was 'edge'. My contribution was a heptagonal plate - I like how it's somewhat symmetrical but no edges are parallel.
Just before the market, I made some tenmoku glazed dessert plates, which were still too hot when I left for the market 🔥
They are available at my studio tomorrow during opening hours 🖤

Ready for my first market this summer ☀️
Bringing some new colours to 💚
