In this time where truth is unclear and the path is unknown, we must cultivate a deep trust. For me that trust comes in two ways. The sun, the stars, the fire and my heart open my connection. This is the inner light reflected in the outer light. It is the light which can illuminate my path. My body and its presence here on this earth then form the ground. The more I breathe, feel, sing, dance and drum, the more I bring my connection into form.
For me, rituals, ceremonies and retreats open the connection and provide guidance. They cleanse my system so that it can hold the light of its own being. Bodywork and somatic practices including yoga, tai chi and movement then ground me. My entire system can reset according to this experience of light.
The bodywork I offer and teach is more or less a middle path. It both connects and grounds. Release comes in smaller waves, but potent enough for sure. Integration then becomes a way of life. This is how the life changes long term.
In these processes I find it is good to be held. In my own deep work, I am held by the experience of my teachers. In holding you, there is a line of transmission.
