Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ain Sokhna and overlooking the Red Sea, Il Monte Galala Towers is a landmark mixed-use destination that brings together residential, hospitality, and marina experiences within one of Egypt’s most prestigious coastal developments.

As the Lead Consultant, RAW takes full responsibility for driving the project’s detailed design and multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring seamless integration across all engineering disciplines.
Our mission is clear: to transform the approved design vision into precise, buildable, and high-performance construction documentation delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and uncompromising quality.

Working alongside Tatweer Misr’s esteemed design partner GP&P, we are committed to elevating every technical detail, aligning ambition with ex*****on, and setting new standards in coordination excellence and technical delivery.

We’re honored to share the full drawings and details of our 1st place winning Ghaith Competition project -House prototype-.

This project presents a flexible rural housing model tailored to the diverse climates and geographies of Ghaith’s intervention areas. Recognizing that no single solution can serve all contexts, the design process begins with a matrix that evaluates how environmental and locational factors—such as wind, precipitation, seismic activity, and material availability—affect key architectural elements. A catalog of construction components is then developed to allow for adaptable configurations. The proposal includes a fully detailed prototype for a Moroccan village, using stone foundations, rammed earth walls, and a double roof system of thatch and corrugated metal to ensure thermal comfort and water collection. Additional axonometric studies of three other villages illustrate how the design changes based on local conditions. The project offers not just a house, but a replicable framework for dignified, climate-responsive rural living.

يقدم هذا المشروع نموذجًا مرنًا للإسكان الريفي، مصممًا ليتلاءم مع تنوع المناخات والبيئات الجغرافية في مناطق تدخل منصة غيث. وانطلاقًا من الإيمان بأن حلًا واحدًا لا يمكن أن يناسب جميع السياقات، تبدأ عملية التصميم بمصفوفة تحليلية تقيّم تأثير العوامل البيئية والمكانية—مثل الرياح، والهطول المطري، والنشاط الزلزالي، وتوفر المواد—على العناصر المعمارية الأساسية.
ومن ثم تم تطوير كتالوج لمكونات البناء يتيح تشكيلات متعددة قابلة للتكيّف حسب السياق.

يتضمن المقترح نموذجًا تنفيذيًا متكاملًا لقرية مغربية، يعتمد على أساسات حجرية، وجدران من التربة المدكوكة، ونظام سقف مزدوج من القش والمعدن المموج، لضمان الراحة الحرارية وتجميع مياه الأمطار. كما توضح دراسات أكسونومترية إضافية لثلاث قرى أخرى كيفية تغير التصميم تبعًا للظروف المحلية.

لا يقدّم المشروع منزلًا فحسب، بل إطارًا قابلًا للتكرار لحياة ريفية كريمة، مستجيبة للمناخ، وقائمة على الاحترام العميق للإنسان والبيئة.

🌍 — Day 1

Today, our dear friend Rashed El Singaby, Director at HOK, graciously presented our finalist project “ONE — The Living Archive” before an international jury for the future building - civic category at the World Architecture Festival

Although our team couldn’t attend in person due to force majeure, having such an incredible friend and colleague to represent us reminds us that when passion and trust align, there’s always a way to make it happen.

It’s been a long journey, and we’re not giving up!

We can’t be more proud of our team that worked on this project wholeheartedly!

Crafting the DNA of a Mosque

Using both advanced computational tools and a 1:50 scale physical model, we explore the proportions, human scale, and the spatial and lighting qualities of a single module — the building block from which the entire mosque takes shape.

This simple 5*5*8 meter unit rises on four columns, each integrating built-in squinches to transform the geometry from a square base to a circular crown, where the dome rests.

A union of geometry and craftsmanship — the essence of what architecture has always been.

صياغة جوهر المسجد

باستخدام computational tools ونموذج مجسم بمقياس 1:50، نستكشف أبعاد وحدة واحدة، ومقياسها البشري، وخصائصها الفراغية والإضاءة، وهي الوحدة التي يتشكل منها المسجد بأكمله.

ترتفع هذه الوحدة البسيطة، التي تبلغ أبعادها ٥*٥*٨ أمتار، على أربعة أعمدة، يدمج كل منها مقرنصات مدمجة لتحويل الشكل الهندسي من قاعدة مربعة إلى تاج دائري، حيث تستقر القبة.
