Create Your Implant Surgical Guide with Atomica
The shift toward guided surgery is no longer a futuristic luxury; it is the modern standard for ensuring predictable, safe, and prosthetically driven implant placement. This hands-on workshop provides a comprehensive, step-by-step masterclass in designing custom implant surgical guides using Atomica software.

Course Hands-on
Participants will master the digital workflow from scratch, beginning with the crucial first step: the precise alignment and merging of patient CBCT data (DICOM) with intraoral surface scans (STL).
We will break down the core decision-making principles behind virtual implant positioning, focusing on bone availability, emergence profiles, and avoiding critical anatomical structures. Finally, attendees will transition from software to reality, learning how to design and export a fully functional, print-ready surgical guide.
By demystifying the digital pipeline, this workshop empowers clinicians to take full control of their implant planning, reduce chairside time, and significantly elevate patient outcomes.

Educational Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Master Data Fusion: Confidently import, segment, and accurately merge CBCT DICOM files with intraoral STL scans within the Atomica interface.
Execute Prosthetically Driven Planning: Apply critical decision-making workflows to virtually position implants based on both optimal prosthetic emergence and available bone volume.
Design & Export Surgical Guides: Fabricate a customized, clinically sound surgical guide template, complete with guide sleeves, inspection windows, and retention features, ready for 3D printing.
