Over the course of three days, Mindray North Africa organized a specialized workshop and training program for laboratory physicians from the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, focusing on ISO 15189 standards for quality and competence in medical laboratories.
It was our privilege to welcome around 30 laboratory physicians and managers representing major Ministry of Health hospitals, We were also honored by the presence of Dr. Shaimaa, Director of the Ministry of Health Hospital Laboratories, as well as Dr.Heba the Director of Quality for the Ministry's laboratory sector. The training was delivered by three distinguished experts from the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), we also gave a presentation about Mindray IVD portfolio and how to support quality standards achievement inside their lab, This initiative reflects the strong and ongoing collaboration between the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Mindray North Africa.

We at Mindray Egypt in collaboration with our distributor Kemet Corporation Kemet Medical are proud to participate in the 17th Scientific Meeting of the Clinical Pathology Department at Assiut University.

This remarkable event brought together many distinguished professors and doctors from different laboratory medicine departments and universities across Egypt, creating a valuable opportunity for scientific exchange, collaboration, and professional engagement.

During the meeting, we had the honor of introducing our new Vitamin D kit and showcasing Mindray’s latest technology for Vitamin D measurement. We also had insightful discussions with professors and specialists regarding the current challenges in Vitamin D assessment and the new Mindray standards for Vitamin D evaluation.

In addition, we were privileged to engage in multiple scientific discussions with respected doctors and professors from universities all over Egypt.

It was a pleasure to organize the Smart Healthcare Ecosystem & Digital Transformation Forum, held on 26 January 2026 at Sofitel Nile El Gezirah Hotel, Cairo, organized by Mindray North Africa in cooperation with EBMES – Egyptian Biomedical Engineering Society.

This marked the 4th consecutive edition of the forum, welcoming around 110 attendees from leading public and private hospitals across Egypt, including Biomedical Engineering leaders, Heads of Anesthesia & ICU, Laboratory Directors, and Radiology Department Heads.

We were honored by the attendance of Mindray Vice President Mr. Kewen, and to showcase Mindray’s PMLS, MIS, and IVD product lines, highlighting integrated technologies that support smarter healthcare ecosystems.

The event also featured international experience sharing from China, with Dr. Wang Chunming (Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) presenting insights on smart hospital development, and Jucheng (Jason) Zhang (The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine) sharing perspectives on clinical engineering innovation.
