تأسست نوكس عام 1989 على يد احد الصيادله الشغوفين بعلم النباتات والعطور (الاروماثيرابي ) الذي كان مقتنعا تماما بامكانية استخلاص المواد الطبيعية واستخدامها في مستحضرات التجميل والعناية بالبشرة دون اضافة اي مواد كيماوية او عطور صناعية وبدأت سلسله من التطورات التجارية لهذه العلامة في فرنسا الى ان حصلت على 32 براءه اختراع ، وتهدف نوكس دائما الى الوصول الى اعلى درجة من تركيز المكونات الطبيعية الى ان اصبحت الاسم الاول في مجال مستحضرات بالجلد التجميلية في فرنسا
