Al Khalat

Al Khalat Studio Khalat is a new addition to artellewa art space, which opened in January 2013.

Al Khalat is primarily a shared artist’s studio space, allowing artists to work on individual projects in a variety of mediums. The unique location gives artists the opportunity to communicate with residents and craftsmen of Ard El Lewa, and to interact with the surrounding environment. In addition to being a artists’ workspace, Studio Khalat also hosts a variety of workshops and performances incl

uding Safarni Intercultural Workshop, film screenings, concerts, and theatrical performances.
