One of my favorite places in Egypt was the valley of the artisans. Most of what we see in Egypt is the royalty. The splendor. The grandiosity of the magnificent structures. But who were the ones who carved the tombs? Who created the ornate artistry and paintings in the halls of the temples? The people who rested in these tombs.

Who were you in a past life? We all wish we were royalty, Pharaohs and Queens sitting on thrones. But what about the artisan who painstakingly worked for years to create these structures that stood the test of time? They are the heroes and the reason we all feel so drawn to this place.
