Pharma-Algi® F product line is a hemostatic and absorbent wound dressing made of calcium alginate fibers.

The fibers absorb liquid and swell, and the calcium ions present in the fiber are partially replaced by sodium, causing the dressing to take on a gel-like appearance. This provides a micro-environment that is believed to facilitate wound healing.
