Yantra Yoga is one of the oldest yoga systems in the world, brought to the West in the 1970s by Dzogchen Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

Through movement, breath, rhythm, and very specific application of breath holds, you can balance your vital energy and achieve deep, natural relaxation. This practice is designed to increase respiratory capacity, enhance circulation, and sharpen mental focus—preparing both body and mind for a state of presence.

Between sessions, there is a space. Time to absorb what you're learning. Time to rest in nature. The Atlantic Ocean is a short walk away, perfect for daily swims that soothe both body and mind. In our gardens, you'll meet beautiful trees, flowers, butterflies, fruits, and birds to fully immerse yourself in the relaxed atmosphere of Dzamling Gar.

The "9 Breathing" ( the Nine Purification Breathings )(Tibetan: rlung ro bsal ba, literally "expel the impure air"). This is a foundational practice designed to purify the subtle energy (prana/loong) by addressing emotional imbalances, clearing three types of stale air associated with anger, attachment, and ignorance.

What makes 9 Breathing interesting is not only its tradition, but also its structure; it works on the diaphragm in a 3D way, shaping the body to allow for deep breathing by fully utilizing the lower and posterior parts of the lungs.

There are four main types of Vajra Dance, many of which are practiced on a five-colored mandala representing the Earth. Some forms, however, can be done without a mandala.

This piece, known as 12A, is one of them. It works with sound, bringing awareness—sound comes from the navel, the body’s center—and connecting with primordial sound.
