Most people find me when they’ve already tried other things.

They’ve read the books. They understand their patterns. They might even know exactly where it started.

And yet — something isn’t shifting.

This is the gap I work in.
Between knowing and changing.
Between understanding and actually feeling different.

My approach combines CBT, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness — not because it’s a trend, but because each method reaches a different layer. Together they create something none of them does alone.

What surprises people most is that this work didn’t start in a therapy room for me. It started on a mat — years of Hapkido and yoga before I ever trained clinically. Learning to redirect fear rather than fight it. To use breath and body as tools. To practise a response until it becomes natural.

That’s still exactly what I do. Just with more tools now- and different ‚language‘.

Most people who w at to quit already know why. What they haven’t found yet is what ci******es were doing for them. They played an important role in life- often for years or even decades .

That’s the work - learning to manage life, stress and yourself . We‘ll work on it together.

It’s not about willpower, it’s about understanding.

The UK just became the second country in the world to pass a generational to***co ban.

From January 2027, anyone born after 2009 will never legally be able to buy a cigarette in the UK — for life. The Maldives was first, introducing the same law in November 2025.

The intention is genuinely good. Smoking causes enormous suffering and I see its impact in my work every week.

And yet the question that stays with me is this:

What actually makes someone stop?

In my experience, the people who quit for good are rarely the ones who were forced to (actually never !) They’re the ones who reached a moment of personal decision. Something shifted — and they chose differently.

Legislation can remove access. It can change the environment. But it can’t create that internal shift. Only the person can do that.

This is why I work the way I do — combining CBT, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness to help people reach that moment, and build on it. Not because they have to. Because they’ve decided they want to.

Gone climbing 🏔️

I am away from April 19. - 26…

Conquering El Teide and my inner peace - at least this was the idea. Unfortunately the access to Teide is closed at the moment due to weather conditions . What’s left is to conquer back my inner peace 🤪.. that will be an easy one in the mountains ✨

I’m taking a week off to recharge in

the mountains. I’ll be back refreshed and ready

Most people treat breathing techniques like a bed time ritual.

But they are a SKILL- and skills only work when you use them the moment you need them.

During g the meeting that makes your chest tight. Before the presentation. When anxiety arises. When the urge hits and you want to give in to your habit ( smoking etc…).

That‘s where you interrupt the old pattern and build a new one.

This is the core of how I work with clients- combining CBT, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness so that tools don‘t just make sense in theory, but actually work in real life.

A fascinating study once told hotel cleaners something simple:

That their daily work already met national exercise guidelines.

A month later — without changing what they actually did —
their weight, blood pressure and body fat had improved.

Nothing external had changed.
Their expectation had.

The body had been doing the work all along —
but the mind had not registered it as meaningful.

We often assume change only comes from doing more, pushing harder, or fixing something.

But sometimes, change begins when perception shifts.

This is something I see often in therapy.

When someone begins to see their anxiety differently…
their habits differently…
or their own ability to cope differently…

the nervous system responds.

CBT, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness work not just by changing behaviour —
but by changing expectation, interpretation and internal belief.

And from there, the body can follow.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, OCD, phobias or unwanted habits,

Many people tell me they’ve avoided therapy because they’re afraid it might make them feel worse.

And that fear makes sense.

Therapy shouldn’t leave you overwhelmed or drained.

Recently, I was working with a client who had been struggling with performance anxiety for over 20 years — in a highly demanding leadership role where presentations were unavoidable.

Have you ever noticed how your body reacts to your own thoughts?

Tight chest.

Shallow breath.

Tension in your shoulders. Sleepless nights.

Or maybe — space.

A deeper inhale.

A sense of steadiness.

The way you speak to yourself is not just “mindset.”

It is physiology.

Your nervous system listens to every sentence. The mind, teh body, our nervous syustem are linke dtogether, they are one.

When your inner voice says,

“I can’t handle this,”

your body prepares for danger.

When it says,

“I can take this one step at a time,”

your body begins to regulate.

This is the work I do with adults every day.

We change thoughts, also the automatic ones.

We change the state of the nervous system.
