my cab ride home with heart wide open
the work of supporting baby earth-side will always fill me with wonder. watching 2 brave new parents do such transcendent love drenched work together.
and somehow the sun rises yet again
and with it a new baby takes his first breath
and we all weep with joy.

Morning walk reflections:
In the last 3 weeks I've had the distinct pleasure of Caring for a baby postpartum, teaching a reluctant mama how to successfully breastfeed, cared for a baby feeding them 9 overnight night visits and in the deep wonder of baring witness to 2 births and supporting these Mamas and their partners go from fearing birth to becoming it. No words can touch this....I had a vision and it's here swiftly lifting my heart out of heavy into freedom thru service. Embrace your loved ones we do not know the last time we will see them...love is growth love is transformative ...seeing babies take their first breath...leaning into the pain knowing the love is bigger than feelings ....blood s**t tears and milk...embracing the feminine..yes....daring to be soft & raw while fiercely courageous....watchful..
Protective and curious.... life feels fragile like a bomb.

It's not the what
It's the HOW
What energy are we embodying
In the doing of the thing? I believe
When we die it won't be the what
It will be ...how did we make someone feel ...did we help? Did we celebrate protect and cherish? Were we present? Did we listen? Were we of service? Did we make them feel heard and seen? Did we bring peace to those around us? Did we love them with tenderness? Did we offer grace with ourselves and others? Was kindness and generosity of spirit in the air? I've made many mistakes in my life. I have not always brought this energy....I'm grateful for pain and forgiveness .its taught me what only the shadow sides know. How could I not be grateful for it all?
My heart is full with another day to do more and be better.
