No traditional linework.

No heavy contours.

Only carefully constructed layers of texture, hair direction and shadow designed to create form through volume rather than through outlines.

Very few understand what happens BEFORE the line.

The real challenge is not pulling a straight line.
The real challenge is maintaining exactly the same depth, speed, pressure and saturation for 15 uninterrupted seconds.

Take a deep breath.
Hold it.
Can you keep holding it until this line is finished?

This is one of the longest continuous precision lines we’ve executed in recent months.

A single-pass line.

No stops.
No corrections.
No hesitation.

But not for the reason most people think.

This cartridge uses a much narrower and straighter tip construction than traditional cartridges.

💡 KEY DETAIL:

The secret is not the Magnum.
The secret is how the Magnum is used.

A traditional shading angle would never allow this level of precision.

Instead, the needle was constantly rotated and positioned around 45 degrees, allowing the edge of the Magnum to behave almost like a liner.

Large Magnums carry a huge amount of pigment.

That is normally an advantage.
Here, it becomes the biggest obstacle.

To control that pigment flow:

• The needle must be heavily exposed
• The hand rhythm must remain consistent
• Skin tension becomes critical
