⚠️ Most people see a bird.

A trained eye sees power, precision, patience… and absolute control over the sky.

Because true strength doesn’t scream.

It glides.

Would you rather be feared… or impossible to ignore?

───────────────

This falcon represents something timeless.

Freedom.

Vision.

Focus.

Dominance through precision.

πŸ’‘ KEY DETAIL:

One of the most interesting aspects of this piece is the perspective.

The position of the wings creates a visual illusion of movement.
One wing fully extended.

The other partially folded.
This subtle asymmetry tricks the eye into perceiving motion.
Making the falcon feel alive from different viewing angles.

───────────────

πŸ’› KEY TIPS:

β€’ Movement can be created through asymmetry
β€’ Contrast should guide the eye, not overpower the design
β€’ Grey wash creates atmosphere without losing detail
β€’ White highlights are most effective when used sparingly

Some tattoos are beautiful.
Some tattoos are powerful.
The rare ones manage to become both.

⚠️ Most artists clean the tattoo to see the shadow.

The best ones learn to read the shadow before they clean it.

Because real control begins when you stop depending on visibility…
and start trusting technique.

Would you be able to know exactly how soft a gradient is before wiping the skin?

───────────────

This piece is more than an olive branch.

It is AndalucΓa.
It is dry earth after rain.
It is generations working the land.

It is sunlight over olive trees, patience, roots and identity.

A symbol deeply connected to our culture, our people and the place we call home.

───────────────

πŸ’‘ KEY DETAIL:

One of the most interesting technical aspects of this reel is what happens after the first passes.

As pigment accumulates on the surface, tiny deposits of ink remain suspended on the skin.

Most artists see this as visual noise.
We see it as information.

Instead of constantly wiping, we use those micro-deposits as part of the shading process itself.

───────────────

🧠 WHY IT WORKS:

Soft black & grey shading is not about adding more ink.
It is about understanding exactly where not to place it.

The difference between a muddy shadow and an elegant shadow often comes down to:

β€’ Hand rhythm
β€’ Needle depth
β€’ Stretching
β€’ Machine control
β€’ Reading the skin correctly

This is why patience matters so much.

───────────────

βš™οΈ TECHNIQUE USED:

β€’ MACHINE: FK Irons Flux Max
β€’ STROKE: 3.2
β€’ NEEDLE: 7 Curved Magnum 0.30 Long Taper
β€’ TECHNIQUE: Layered Black & Grey Shading / Controlled Surface Pigment Modulation
β€’ NEEDLE EXPOSURE: Extended Exposure For Maximum Precision
β€’ VOLTAGE: 7.5V
β€’ INK: Dynamic Union Black 100%

───────────────

πŸ’› KEY TIPS:

β€’ Learn to read the skin before wiping constantly
β€’ Surface pigment can become a technical resource when controlled correctly
β€’ Stretching is just as important as machine settings
β€’ Smooth shadows come from consistency, not speed
β€’ Patience always produces cleaner transitions
β€’ The softer the effect, the more control it us

⚠️ Most artists rely on linework to define a tiger.

What happens when you remove the line completely?

No outlines.
No shortcuts.
No safety net.

Just volume, texture, anatomy and light.

Could you still make the viewer see the tiger?

───────────────

This project is being built almost entirely with a single 7 Curved Magnum.

No traditional linework.

No heavy contours.

Only carefully constructed layers of texture, hair direction and shadow designed to create form through volume rather than through outlines.

And honestly…

That’s where the real challenge begins.

───────────────

πŸ’‘ KEY DETAIL:

The objective here is not to tattoo a tiger.
The objective is to understand how a tiger is built.
Hair direction.
Muscle structure.
Shadow placement.
Anatomical flow.

Every pass of the Magnum must follow the natural movement of the fur.

───────────────

🧠 WHY IT WORKS:

The human eye naturally searches for contrast.
Most artists create contrast using outlines.
This project creates contrast using values.

Light against shadow.
Soft transitions against concentrated darkness.
Hair texture against open skin.

───────────────

βš™οΈ TECHNIQUE USED:

β€’ MACHINE: FK Irons Flux Max
β€’ STROKE: 3.2
β€’ NEEDLE: 7 Curved Magnum
β€’ TECHNIQUE: Floating Needle / Fur Texture Building / Layered Black & Grey Construction
β€’ NEEDLE EXPOSURE: Extended Exposure For Maximum Precision
β€’ VOLTAGE: Adapted For Soft Layering
β€’ INK: Dynamic Grey Wash 60% + Dynamic Union Black

───────────────

πŸ’› KEY TIPS:

β€’ Study hair direction before touching the skin
β€’ Build volume first, detail second
β€’ Use multiple soft passes instead of forcing darkness
β€’ Keep the Magnum exposed for better visibility and cleaner texture
β€’ Let contrast emerge gradually through layers

───────────────

The strongest realism doesn’t come from darker blacks.
It comes from understanding where not to place them.
Watch closely.

⚠️ Most artists focus on the line.

Very few understand what happens BEFORE the line.

The real challenge is not pulling a straight line.
The real challenge is maintaining exactly the same depth, speed, pressure and saturation for 15 uninterrupted seconds.

Take a deep breath.
Hold it.
Can you keep holding it until this line is finished?

───────────────

This is one of the longest continuous precision lines we’ve executed in recent months.

A single-pass line.

No stops.
No corrections.
No hesitation.

Just one controlled movement from start to finish.

───────────────

πŸ’‘ KEY DETAIL:

The needle matters.

But not for the reason most people think.

This cartridge uses a much narrower and straighter tip construction than traditional cartridges.

Instead of a wider cone-shaped exit, the tip is almost perfectly cylindrical.

That means:

β€’ More controlled ink flow
β€’ Less splashing
β€’ Less excess pigment

βš™οΈ TECHNIQUE USED:

β€’ MACHINE: FK Irons Flux Max
β€’ STROKE: 3.2
β€’ NEEDLE: 3RL 0.30 Long Taper β€” MAST PRO
β€’ TECHNIQUE: Floating Needle / Single Pass Precision Linework
β€’ NEEDLE EXPOSURE: Approximately 4mm
β€’ VOLTAGE: 7.5V
β€’ INK: Dynamic Union Black 100%

───────────────

πŸ’› KEY TIPS:

β€’ Maintain the same hand speed throughout the entire pull
β€’ Stretch the skin aggressively before starting
β€’ Apply a thin layer of tattoo butter to improve glove glide
β€’ Avoid excessive cartridge flooding
β€’ Use extended needle exposure for maximum visibility
β€’ Let the machine do the work, not force from your hand

───────────────

Premium linework isn’t created by moving faster.
It’s created by removing uncertainty.
Watch the line carefully.

31/05/2026

⚠️ What if I told you this entire tattoo was done with the β€œwrong” needle?

Not a liner.
Not a 3RL.
Not a 5RL.

A 21 Curved Magnum.

And yet… every line, every texture, every shadow was built using the same needle.

So the question is:

Are your tools limiting your tattooing… or is your tattooing limiting your tools?

───────────────

This piece started as a personal challenge.
A challenge to push versatility further than ever before.

Most artists see a 21 Curved Magnum and immediately think:
β€’ Large shading
β€’ Large fills
β€’ Large surfaces

We saw something different.

───────────────

πŸ’‘ KEY DETAIL:

The secret is not the Magnum.
The secret is how the Magnum is used.

A traditional shading angle would never allow this level of precision.

Instead, the needle was constantly rotated and positioned around 45 degrees, allowing the edge of the Magnum to behave almost like a liner.

───────────────

🧠 WHY IT WORKS:

Large Magnums carry a huge amount of pigment.

That is normally an advantage.
Here, it becomes the biggest obstacle.

To control that pigment flow:

β€’ The needle must be heavily exposed
β€’ The hand rhythm must remain consistent
β€’ Skin tension becomes critical
β€’ Voltage must stay controlled

───────────────

βš™οΈ TECHNIQUE USED:

β€’ MACHINE: FK Irons Flux Max
β€’ STROKE: 3.2
β€’ NEEDLE: 21 Curved Magnum 0.30 Long Taper
β€’ TECHNIQUE: Edge Magnum Linework / Comic Texture Shading / Advanced Magnum Control
β€’ NEEDLE EXPOSURE: Extended Floating Needle Setup
β€’ VOLTAGE: 7V
β€’ INK: Dynamic Union Black 100%

───────────────

πŸ’› KEY TIPS:

β€’ Start learning this technique with a 7 or 9 Curved Magnum before attempting a 21
β€’ Use the edge of the Magnum, not the full face
β€’ Reduce pigment flow by increasing needle exposure
β€’ Control rhythm before attempting speed

⚠️ Most artists use bigger needles to make bigger tattoos.

The best artists learn how to make one needle do everything.

Line.
Texture.
Depth.
Aggression.
Flow.

Can a single Magnum really build an entire sleeve… or are most artists limiting themselves before they even begin?

───────────────

A full arm composition built from hundreds of individual marks.

Neo-Gothic.
Aggressive.
Sharp.
Elegant.

A fusion of black scar-like structures flowing around the entire arm and three striking red Japanese chrysanthemums, creating a visual contrast between violence and beauty, darkness and growth, fragility and resilience.

───────────────

πŸ’‘ KEY DETAIL:

The real challenge here is not creating the dark structures.

The real challenge is controlling where they disappear.

Look carefully.

Many of these lines do not end.

They dissolve.

They fade naturally into the skin until the eye can no longer distinguish where the tattoo finishes and the skin begins.

───────────────

🧠 WHY IT WORKS:

Projects like this are not built through complexity.
They are built through repetition and patience.

Every single mark contributes to a larger visual structure.
Every line supports another line.

Every shadow reinforces another shadow.
What appears chaotic at close range becomes organized when viewed from distance.

───────────────

πŸ’› KEY TIPS:

β€’ Let the texture grow naturally instead of forcing shapes
β€’ Use multiple machine angles to create visual variety
β€’ Focus on flow before detail
β€’ Build from large structures into smaller transitions
