✨ DAY 1 OF OUR 21 DAY CHALLENGE ✨

If I’m honest, May wasn’t my month.

After pushing hard with 2 ultras, a HYROX, bar shifts, my day job and everyday life, I found myself completely out of sync. My body was tired, my mind was tired, and I struggled to get back into my usual routine.

But here’s the thing…

One bad month doesn’t define you.
One difficult season doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

Today is a fresh start.

I’ve prepared my environment, stocked my nutrition, planned my movement, and committed to showing up for myself for the next 21 days. Not perfectly. Just consistently.

The medals fade. The race high wears off. And then… the hard part can begin.

Post-race blues are REAL.

After weeks or months of training, pushing your body, focusing on one goal and running on adrenaline… your nervous system eventually says: “Okay, now we recover.”

And sometimes that recovery doesn’t look pretty.

It can look like:
• exhaustion despite sleeping
• low motivation
• binge eating and sugar cravings
• feeling emotional or flat
• anxiety
• body aches and inflammation
• feeling a bit lost without the next goal

I’ve learned that recovery isn’t just physical. Your nervous system, hormones, mind and body all need time to come back into balance after big events.

This is your reminder that:
Rest is productive.
Slowing down is not weakness.
And you do not need to “earn” recovery.

The strongest athletes aren’t the ones who never stop.
They’re the ones who know when to rebuild.

So if you’re in that weird post-race fog right now… you’re not alone 🤍

Be gentle with yourself.
Move slowly.
Fuel your body.
Get outside.
Sleep more.
Breathe deeper.
And trust that your spark will come back.

Recovery is part of the journey too. đź«¶
