It is nice to be here again! ☺️ Time flies, ahh yes... I don't know when and a few months have already passed. I was busy and that is a positive sign 😉 And my soul says, everything at the right time... 🙏
So now is the right time to post about Craniosacral Therapy &
Concussion Recovery.
I would like to share a resume of the research from the Upledger Institute and other clinical sources where it is demonstrated that Craniosacral Therapy (CST) provides measurable relief for post-concussion symptoms.
•The Wetzler Study (Medical Acupuncture,2017) : Retired professional football players showed statistically significant improvements after just 10 sessions. Results included a marked decrease in overall pain, a 50% increase in average sleep hours, and improved memory and reaction times.
• Post-Acute Concussion Pilot Study (Kratz et al.,2021): This study found that most patients experienced positive changes in symptoms within 1 to 3 sessions. It confirmed CST as a low-risk, effective option for both athletes and non-athletes.
• The Ricky Williams Concussion Project: This intensive program documented significant life-changing benefits for participants, including reduced depression, improved balance, and the release of long-held physical and emotional tension.
• Brain Health Research: Additional Upledger research says that CST facilitates better cerebrospinal fluid flow, which is critical for clearing metabolic waste and supporting brain health after trauma.
🏈Former NFL players like Ricky Williams, George Visger, and Markus Koch have credited CST with helping them reclaim their cognitive function, stabilize their moods, and live pain-free after years of accumulated head injuries.
Your health matters!💚
If you’re dealing with brain fog, chronic headaches, stress, head and neck tensions or sleep issues, these studies offer concrete evidence that recovery after concussion is possible! CST is a non-invasive, drug-free, hands-on approach that targets the core issues of post-concussion syndrome.
Stay healthy! ☘️
