Statement

Wednesday, 3 June 2026 - The world had hoped that the ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran would lead to an end to the conflict and pave the way for permanent peace. However, the renewed escalation between the United States and Iran is deeply concerning and unacceptable. People around the world are against this war and any further escalation.

I call upon the United States, Iran, and Israel to immediately stop all attacks, violence, and killings in the Gulf region, Lebanon, and all other areas affected by this conflict. It is not only the people of the United States, Iran, and Israel who want peace—the people of the entire world want this war to end and for lasting peace to prevail.

History has repeatedly shown that no one truly wins a war. War brings only death, destruction, displacement, and suffering. The time has come for dialogue, mutual understanding, and peaceful solutions.

I urge the United States, Iran, and Israel to immediately agree to a permanent ceasefire and begin meaningful negotiations for lasting peace. As an independent non-governmental peace advocate, I have previously offered my mediation and participation in any ceasefire or peace process aimed at achieving sustainable peace. I firmly believe that permanent ceasefires and lasting peace are what people everywhere seek and deserve.

This vision is also in line with my Global Peace 2030 Agenda, which promotes dialogue, cooperation, and peaceful conflict resolution worldwide.

War brings killings, destruction, displacement, and suffering for civilians. No one truly wins in war. Recent reports state that hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers have been killed since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, and Ukraine has also suffered enormous losses.

Therefore, an immediate ceasefire is necessary, followed by serious peace talks. The world needs independent voices outside governments to encourage dialogue and humanity. I am interested in helping mediate and support efforts toward ceasefire and peace.

Tuesday, 26 May 2026 - It is deeply concerning that while peace talks are taking place on one side, new military strikes are being launched on the other. I strongly urge all parties to immediately halt all attacks and acts of escalation. All problems should be solved through negotiation and dialogue instead of violence and war.

I have repeatedly called upon the United States, Israel, and Iran to pursue an immediate ceasefire and work toward a durable and lasting peace. History has shown that conflict does not provide solutions. On the contrary, war leads to destruction, loss of innocent lives, and the displacement of communities.

I have already proposed my mediation for peace talks with all parties involved in the conflict. There is a need for an independent non-government mediation process, and I believe I am well positioned to support this initiative.

Unrest in any region must not be allowed to continue. All nations and conflicting parties must come together under the Global Peace 2030 agenda, which I believe is a path toward lasting peace on Earth.

Thursday, 21 May 2026 - I welcome the ceasefire announced by the ELN and FARC dissident groups in Colombia. However, I sincerely hope this ceasefire becomes permanent and is not limited only to the election period.

I have already communicated with the President of Colombia and offered my mediation support for lasting peace. Colombia needs sustainable and long-term peace. Any path taken against peace by the ELN and FARC dissident groups is not acceptable for the future of the country and its people.

I call upon both the ELN and FARC dissident groups to come forward for peace talks. Peace is the only solution for Colombia. The priority should not be demands, but the people of Colombia and what they truly want — peace, stability, and a better future.

This ceasefire opportunity must encourage the Government of Colombia, the ELN, and the FARC dissident groups to come together at the negotiation table immediately. This is also part of my Global Peace 2030 agenda, because the new generation and the people of Colombia deserve a future built on peace from now onward.

Peace for Colombia is possible through dialogue, unity, and mutual understanding.
