What if the most beautiful skin visual is also the most scientifically accurate?

Skin can be represented in countless ways:
➫Photorealistic.
➫Aesthetic.
➫Conceptual.

But whatever the style, one thing should never change: the science behind it.

Every anatomical layer. Every cellular component. Every interaction needs to be accurate to communicate with confidence.

Our colleague Enrique Rueda created this skin visualization for BYOMA, bringing together scientific precision and visual storytelling to help complex biology become easier to understand.

Today we want to share a recent project by Enrique Rueda, one of our 3D animators at 3DforScience - Global Scientific Communications.

He created this animation for JCR Pharmaceuticals to explain their JUST-AAV technology. The video shows how they use miniaturized antibodies on the surface of the virus to recognize specific receptors. This allows the treatment to target the right cells and avoid affecting unwanted tissues.

How do you show a therapy designed to cross one of the body's most challenging barriers?

In our work for PREDICTION BIOSCIENCES, we explored frontotemporal dementia ( ), a brain disease that slowly damages the frontal and temporal regions. It is linked to genetic mutations that lead to abnormal protein build-up and the gradual loss of connections between neurons. Over time, this affects behavior, language, and decision-making.

To tell this story, we animated the journey of bioengineered exosomes designed to cross the blood-brain barrier and deliver therapeutic cargo directly to targeted brain cells.

The result is a clear visual narrative showing how this approach could help protect or restore brain function in , and may also have potential in other conditions such as , ’s disease, and .

.com brings complex virology to life in our latest Mode of Action animation, created in partnership with ViroMissile, Inc., a pioneering biotech on a mission to develop a one-shot intravenous viral immunotherapy capable of eliminating primary and metastatic tumors.

Through high-fidelity 3D visualization and detailed storytelling across oncolytic virology, tumor immunology, and systemic drug delivery, this animation showcases how Viromissile's IDOV-Immune, an engineered Vaccinia virus platform, survives the bloodstream, selectively infects cancer cells, and unleashes a coordinated immune attack by recruiting NK cells, activating dendritic cells, and mobilizing T cells to transform cold tumors into hot ones.

These visuals serve as a strategic asset to communicate scientific differentiation, clinical promise, and commercial readiness to investors and partners.
