This is What 70 Looks Like

This was me sitting in the evening sunshine

No filter

No special lighting

Just me at 70

Feeling Sorry For Myself

Not me but the lady who wrote this in a group I belong to

But it hit home hard!

Because all these things were the things I felt too

And had tried everything

Just read it

“Hi this is more of a feel sorry for myself post tbh

I’m in my early 50s, just turned 52 last wk, and going through menopause atm !

Omg doesn’t ur body change when you hit 50!!

My baggy under arms!
My chest area!
My crinkle thighs!
My laughter lines + forehead!
My extra bellies!
My saggy boob’s!
My hair thinning!
My skin!
My nornal weight has always been about 60kg.

Not now I’m nearly hitting 70k, eating like a horse and don’t want to do nothing apart from housework and cook dinners for husband, I do workfull time also tho, plus have dogs so we go out walking all the time ( plus my house is always gleaming tbh!).. but what happens to your body when you hit 50??

What can I do to help all these things?

A little update from my NeuCollagen journey

This was 11 days in

I’ve been consistent every day

4 days ago I began exercising again 🏋️‍♀️

I love ❤️ my exercise but my hip had been playing up a bit recently (one of those age related things)

I’ve got a simple exercise routine to follow thanks to a friend

And have to say it’s feeling good so far

I wasn’t expecting miracles but very happy 😁to be able to exercise

A few weeks ago I went on a quite challenging 😥 hike with hubby and friends in Albufeira Portugal 🇵🇹

Walking was way easier and no grumbles from my hip or knees

Some of the hike I felt a bit like a mountain goat 🐐

But it was fun 🤩

Anyway I’ll keep sharing everything

I’ve been consistent every day

I actually did a self-assessment before I started

Skin, joints, energy, hair, brain fog

And I’m listening to my body

What I know for certain is this

At 70 I wasn’t not looking for miracles
