“In native culture we address the spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual aspects of wellness. This is where alternative, integrative and functional medicine approaches align more with my views on health and healing. I am invested in helping family, friends and community members feel their best so they can achieve their highest potential and live out their lives full of vibrancy and happiness! I consistently practice what I preach with wholesome lifestyle habits so I can feel energized and ready to give clients the best care and time they deserve. It brings me honor and joy to continually share my knowledge to guide and partner with others on their healing journey. A well-rounded approach to wellness focuses on hormone balance, gut restoration and microbiome health, body alignment, nervous system regulation, and energy flow. Yes, this includes physical labs and data, replacing deficiencies in the body, eliminating toxicities, etc. but I also invite clients to go beyond the labs and get in sync with truly listening to their body. When you tie all these components together, you will start to experience the beauty of health and wellness.”

In her free time Kym enjoys cooking, training and competing in triathlons, and reading. The rigorous demands of preparing for triathlon races as an athlete allow her to understand the importance of balance and well-being throughout whole body systems. She emphasizes and advocates for whole food nutrition, healthy hormone balance, quality supplementation when needed, restorative sleep, energy system flow, meditation and other forms of mindfulness and self-care. Kym looks forward to working with clients to optimize their health through specialization in hormone testing and balance and various other functional medicine, coaching, lifestyle and nutrition approaches.

Endometriosis is part of my story, but it doesn’t get to be the whole story.

I’ve been the woman curled up in pain, canceling plans, sitting in doctor’s offices begging someone to listen.

And I’m also the woman crossing finish lines, training for triathlons, moving my body and building a life I once wasn’t sure was possible.

Both are reality.

Healing didn’t erase what I went through. And it certainly doesn’t mean I never have a hard day. It means I stopped accepting symptom management as the finish line.

Surgery was part of my story, but so was looking deeper. Supporting inflammation, gut health, nutrient status, minerals, nervous system regulation, movement, recovery, and doing the very unsexy, foundational work over and over again.

I share the finish lines because I know what the bathroom floor feels like. I share the possibility because I know what hopelessness feels like.

And I will keep sharing BOTH. Because somewhere, there’s a woman with a heating pad wondering, “Is this just my life now?”

I want her to know:
Your diagnosis gets to be part of your story.
It doesn’t have to be the whole story. 🤍

Your hormones aren’t the only problem. Your gut isn’t the only problem. It’s not just parasites, mold, your thyroid, minerals, or your nervous system.

Your body is a system and the order in which you address those systems matters.

That’s why throwing random supplements at symptoms or chasing the latest “root cause” on social media often leaves you frustrated and still not feeling well.

Your personalized data matters, but so does having a strategy for what to address first, second, and third.

The goal isn’t to keep you dependent on supplements or practitioners forever. It’s to help your body return to balance, give you a sustainable maintenance strategy, and send you on your way feeling GOOD. 🙌

This is why I do what I do. 🤍

Not just to help you feel better, but to help you feel like yourself again.

When you’ve spent years being told your labs are “normal,” managing symptoms, or feeling like no one is truly listening, finding the why can change everything.

Root-cause care means listening deeper, asking better questions, and looking at the whole picture, not just quieting the symptoms.

“After years of suffering, I am now feeling like myself.” 🥹

There’s no greater testimonial than that. Thank you, Carrie, for trusting me with your health. 🤍

Your hormones might not be the problem. Your receptors might be.

Here’s the piece almost every provider skips:

Every cell has a lock (a receptor site). Hormones, peptides, meds, and supplements are the keys. But if that lock is jammed….think maybe by inflammation, toxins, nutrient gaps, chronic stress, insulin resistance….you can have the perfect key and still get nothing.

This is why “my labs are fine but I feel terrible” is so common. Blood levels aren’t the same as cellular uptake.

So before we keep stacking more hormones, peptides or supplements, I ask the question no one else does: can your cells actually receive the message?

That’s the difference. That’s why my clients finally get somewhere.

DM me RECEPTOR and let’s have a conversion on where to start.

While so many people spend their lives avoiding the hard things, I’ve found healing in doing the exact opposite: tackling the barriers that challenge me and, quite frankly, sometimes scare the sh*t out of me.

They say if your dreams don’t scare you a little, they’re not big enough. And I believe the same is true for growth.

Whether it’s your health, wellness, fitness, career, or life goals, you have to be willing to get uncomfortable if you want to see what you’re truly capable of.

I could have spent my life mourning the cards I was dealt at a young age: losing my colon, endometriosis, the aftermath of birth control, multiple surgeries, and everything that came with them. And trust me, there were seasons when simply getting through the day felt like enough.

But after putting in so much work to bring my body back into balance, I realized something:

I didn’t fight this hard just to exist in a constant state of fear that my body might fail me again.

I fought this hard so I could LIVE.

To challenge myself. To chase big goals. To do things that scare me. To experience what my body can do instead of constantly worrying about what it can’t.

Healing wasn’t the finish line. It gave me the freedom to actually live beyond “endometriosis remission.”

Because if I’m not using this second chance to do the things that bring me joy, challenge me, and make me feel fully alive…

What was all of this work for? 🤍

Sometimes the biggest wins are the ones that seem so simple. 🤍

After 6+ months of struggling, this mama finally saw a sign that her child’s body was moving in the right direction, and the relief in her words says it all.

This is why we look deeper. This is why we keep asking questions. And this is why finding the root cause matters.

Healing takes time, but sometimes that first little win is everything. 🥹

kinda chic to know you deserve to feel good in your own body regularly

Swipe through and be honest with yourself.
Are you actually doing it? or have you just been avoiding the things that make you uncomfortable?

Normal was never the goal. Optimal and THRIVING is.

And you DO have a choice. YOU get to decide. YOU get to build the life you want.

Root causes over band-aids, real data over guesswork, and zero apologies for wanting more than “fine.”

Which slide hit the hardest?
