Hypnotherapy is a guided therapeutic technique that uses deep relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a trance-like state, helping individuals address behaviors, emotions, and physical concerns.
It is used alongside traditional therapies to treat issues like anxiety, chronic pain, smoking cessation, and IBS, allowing the subconscious mind to be more open to positive suggestions.

How It Works: A trained therapist (That’ll be me, Rachael) guides you into a relaxed, focused state, similar to being absorbed in a book or daydreaming, to help you change habits or perspectives.
Control & Awareness:
Contrary to common misconceptions, you are fully in control during hypnosis, not asleep, and cannot be forced to take on suggestions you do not agree with.
Common Applications:
Hypnotherapy is often used for:Behavioral changes: Self Confidence Issue, Smoking cessation, overeating/weight loss.
Physical health: Chronic pain, IBS, Menopausal Symptoms and anxiety related to most situations including generalised anxiety.
Mental health: Anxiety, phobias

It will involve an initial discussion , with me to ascertain goals and desired outcomes. Hypnotherapy is an amazing tool which really can facilitate lasting change. but not suitable for all so it’s important to have this initial chat.
