How do you ensure independence as you age?
Many of the everyday activities we take for granted today, such as climbing stairs, carrying shopping bags, or picking up grandchildren, can become more challenging with age. Strength training is one of the most effective ways to support healthy ageing and help you stay capable, confident, and independent for longer.

From our 40s onwards, muscle mass naturally begins to decline, bone density decreases, and hormonal changes can affect strength and mobility. The good news is that regular resistance training can help slow these changes and support long term health.

At Shanti-Som, our 1:1 Sports Consultation sessions are guided by experienced trainers who will help you develop proper technique, improve your form, and build a programme tailored to your body, goals, and fitness level.

Whether you're new to strength training or looking to refine your approach, the right guidance can make all the difference.
