Why are scars so difficult to treat?

Scar tissue differs from healthy skin: it has altered collagen deposition, reduced microcirculation and limited oxygenation. That is why looking only at the visible mark may not be enough.

In this reel, Dr. Anna Tsebrovska explains why Scars Reverse Technique® focuses on the tissue microenvironment.

Three days of professional education and knowledge sharing in Guayaquil, Ecuador. 🇪🇨

Together with our local partner Mercatti Esthetic and Dr. Rafael Zambrano, we had the opportunity to connect with five different groups of dermatologists and aesthetic medicine professionals through a series of dedicated training sessions.

The programme covered MELINE®, BIOMODULATION and the EXO-GLAM Protocol, combining theoretical knowledge with a practical approach to professional aesthetic treatments.

Beyond the sessions themselves, these three days were about sharing expertise, supporting professionals and strengthening the INNOAESTHETICS community in Ecuador.

Thank you to Mercatti Esthetic, Dr. Rafael Zambrano and all the professionals who joined us in Guayaquil for three days of learning and exchange.

Scar tissue behaves differently from healthy skin.

Altered collagen deposition, reduced microcirculation and limited oxygenation are part of the structural changes that make scars more complex than a visible mark.

This is why Scars Reverse Technique®, developed by Dr. Anna Tsebrovska, focuses on the tissue microenvironment through a combination of positive and negative skin stimulation.

The objective: improve microcirculation, normalize collagen deposition and support tissue regeneration.

What does it really mean to treat a scar?
For Dr. Anna Tsebrovska, it means looking beyond what we see on the surface.

Developed specifically for scars and stretch marks, Scars Reverse Technique® is a structured and personalized approach designed to work on the tissue itself, combining different treatment strategies according to the characteristics of each lesion.

In this video, Dr. Tsebrovska introduces the principles behind the technique and explains why treating scars is about more than improving their appearance.

Last week, we welcomed 40 skin specialists from Ukraine to The Skin Academy in Barcelona for two days of advanced professional training. 🇺🇦

Together with Dr. Víctor García Guevara, Dr. Anastasiia Lapshyna and Dr. Ana Morales, they took part in lectures and hands-on sessions focused on INNOAESTHETICS protocols and techniques, combining knowledge with practical experience.

At INNOAESTHETICS, professional education is an essential part of how we work internationally. Developing advanced solutions is only part of what we do. Sharing the knowledge, methodology and techniques behind them helps professionals deepen their expertise and bring what they learn into their daily practice.

A special thank you to TOTIS, our partner in Ukraine, for making this training possible and for their continued commitment to professional education.

And thank you to all the skin specialists who travelled to Barcelona and shared these two days with us.
