Looking for a wheelchair accessible beach in Yorkshire UK? 🇬🇧

Here are our top 4 tips for visiting the beach in Filey, North Yorkshire:

1. Check ahead for Blue Badge Parking ♿️. Check spaces at West Avenue, Station Avenue and Country Park car parks, as dedicated accessible parking near Coble Landing is limited.

2. Making the most of beach accessibility 🏖. Filey has a sandy beach which can be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair, therefore stick to the main tarmac promenade for easy access.

3. Finding accessible toilet facilities 🚽. Accessible public toilets are available at locations including Filey Beach and Glen Gardens. A Changing Spaces toilet can be found at Filey Foreshore YO14 9LA.

4. Plan your accessible trip in advance 👩🏻‍🦽. Check routes, parking and toilet facilities before travelling as some areas of Filey have steep slopes and uneven access.

♿️ Is Hotel Selu in Córdoba wheelchair accessible?

We stayed here for 2 nights and were really impressed with the accessible room.

It was spacious, easy to manoeuvre around and the bathroom had a really good wheel-in shower with a fold-down seat. There was also a lower sink and a pull-down rail in the wardrobe.

And the location? Another big plus. 👩🏻‍🦽📍 The hotel is within easy walking distance of many of Córdoba’s main attractions, making it a great base for exploring the city.

Breakfast had a good choice too, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
