This Sunday take a moment to check in with yourself
Your inner state is the atmosphere you create inside yourself. It’s also the signal you send to your body. When the mind is racing with fear, the body reacts with stress. When the mind is steady and calm, the body shifts toward balance.
A simple way to picture it is to imagine your inner state as the weather inside your chest. Fear creates storms. Calm creates clear skies. Trust creates warmth. Gratitude creates light. We can’t stop the outside world from changing, but we can choose the weather within.
I’m reminding myself of this today: when we can’t control our outer circumstances, we can choose the environment we create inside ourselves. I’m choosing calm over fear, trust over worry, and steady breath over panic. A peaceful inner state doesn’t change what’s happening around us, but it helps us move through it with strength.
