Between June 3–5, 2026, the project was represented at the 39th IEEE International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (CBMS 2026) in 📍 Limassol, Cyprus.
During the event, Chrystalla Iosif from 3AE Health, one of our Consortium Partners, presented a poster showcasing the VELES project and its four pilot studies, highlighting our progress toward building a more connected and data-driven healthcare ecosystem.
At VELES, we are developing the first Regional Smart Health Data Space ( ) in South-East Europe, paving the way for the European Health Data Space ( ).
CBMS remains one of the leading international forums for advancing research and innovation at the intersection of healthcare and computing. Each year, it brings together clinicians, researchers, engineers, and technology experts to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and address key challenges in computer-based medical systems.
