Between June 3–5, 2026, the project was represented at the 39th IEEE International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (CBMS 2026) in 📍 Limassol, Cyprus.

During the event, Chrystalla Iosif from 3AE Health, one of our Consortium Partners, presented a poster showcasing the VELES project and its four pilot studies, highlighting our progress toward building a more connected and data-driven healthcare ecosystem.

At VELES, we are developing the first Regional Smart Health Data Space ( ) in South-East Europe, paving the way for the European Health Data Space ( ).

CBMS remains one of the leading international forums for advancing research and innovation at the intersection of healthcare and computing. Each year, it brings together clinicians, researchers, engineers, and technology experts to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and address key challenges in computer-based medical systems.

Day 2 of the VELES General Gathering in Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸, focused not only on presentations from our project pilots, but also on inspiring contributions from invited guests and consortium partners.

Launched within the Consortium by UEFISCDI, the report presents the outcomes of a visioning and co-creation workshop held during a VELES General Assembly in February 2025.

It explores how a mature, inclusive, and citizen-centered Health Data Space could function by 2040.

Through forward-looking use cases, stakeholders from healthcare, research, and policy collaborated to shape a shared vision for a trusted and interoperable European Health Data Space, helping guide future policy, research, and investment decisions. 🌍

On March 24, was represented by 3AE Health at the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

Bringing together global stakeholders, this year’s event focused on transformation across key areas such as mental health, AI, smart production, and internationalization, highlighting the future of health innovation.

🤝 During the event, the 3AE Health team:
