የዓለም የህሙማን ደህንነት ቀን መስከረም 7፣2014 የጤና ሚ/ር ሀላፊዎች፣ ሰራተኞች እና በጤናው ዘርፍ ያለዉን ጤና አገልግሎት ጥራት እና ደህንነት ተደራሽነት ለማሳደግ የምትጉ ባለድርሻ አካላት በተገኙበት “ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ የእናቶች እና የጨቅላ ሕፃናት ክብካቤ’’ በሚል መሪ ቃል እና ‘’ደህንነቱ ለተጠበቀ እና አክብሮት ላለው የማዋለድ አገልግሎት በጋራ እንረባረብ’’ በሚል መፈክር የማህበረሰቡን እና ባለድርሻ አካላትን ግንዛቤ እና ትኩረት ለማሳደግ ይክበራል። የ2014 የዓለም የህሙማን ደህንነት ቀን ዓላማዎች:

1. በእናቶች እና ጨቅላ ሕፃናት የጤና አገልግሎት ደህንነት ላይ በተለይም በወሊድ ጊዜ ግንዛቤ ማሳደግ

2. ባለድርሻ አካላትን በማሳትፉ የእናቶችን እና ጨቅላ ሕፃናት ደህንነት ለማሻሻል የሚረዱ ውጤታማ ዘዴዎችን መለየት

3. ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ እና አክብሮት ያለዉ የማዋለድ አገልግሎት ተደራሽ ለማድረግ

Millions of Congratulations to All Hospitals!

Today, the Federal Ministry of Health through its National Medical Services leadership wing has successfully managed to close the well-prepared and long-waited National EHAQ's Program 3rd cycle "Best Performing Public Hospitals Award and Recognition Ceremony" held at Sheraton Addis International Hotel. We as MoH, were extremely thrilled and greatly thankful by the full attendances of all our invited guests (both physical and virtual) including their timely arrival, their disciplined patiency to eagerly and attentively follow the full recognition ceremony till the last minutes. We were also proudly delighted to be able to make clear and straightforward understanding among our respected guests who attended today's ceremony on the overall EHAQ program's objectives, our governance and support mechanisms including all the steps that we transparently went through the best performing hospital identification and selection processes. The key milestones that we have effectively taken in close collaboration with mainly RHBs, Hospitals, Universities and Partners, makes all of us to feel very confident and proud on the successful process, delivery and closure of this 3rd cycle National Best performing public hospitals award and recognition ceremony.

Off course, during these very rigorous, resource and time taking selection processes, we were able to see some challenges, lots of great lessons and learning opportunities for us to consider them in our ongoing preparation for the 4th cycle!

Lastly, we would love to say congratulations all hospitals for your achievements and we do hope, you will bring more much needed improvements in your respective institutions.

The Federal Ministry of Health-Ethiopia through its national medical service leadership wing has organized the “National Best Performing Public Hospitals Award and Recognition Ceremony” which will be held on coming Wednesday, Aug-4-2021. This Hospitals Award and Recognition Ceremony is organized as part of closing the 3rd cycle of the National “Ethiopian Hospitals Alliance for Quality (EHAQ) program. The whole program will be live-streamed through the below link. After conducting four months of very rigorous, well-coordinated, Scientific, and transparent selection and validation processes at both national and regional levels, “Better Performing Public Hospitals” from almost all regions are anonymously identified for the National Award and Recognition scheme. These hospitals were selected for being able to exhibit exceptional leadership with uninterrupted organizational efforts with the aim to improve the efficiency, safety, and timeliness of the hospital services they are providing to the community through and beyond effectively implementing the National CATCH-IT Program in their respective institutions.

Invited guests mainly higher officials from Federal and Regional government, senior delegates of Universities, Professional associations, top leadership bodies of hospitals, donors, and developing partners will be attending this long waited, very surprising and meaningful EHAQ Award and Recognition Ceremony which is to be held at Sheraton Addis International Hotel.

National Major Cities Medical Emergency and Critical Care Improvement Program, ME-CIP;

በሐረማያ ዩኒቨርስቲ ጤናና ህክምና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ መሰብሰቢያ አዳራሽ ሐረር ሚ-ኬር (HARAR ME-CCARE) (Harar emergency Medical & critical care) ፕሮግራም እስትሪም ኮሚቴ መደበኛ ስብሰባ ተካሄደ።

በሐረማያ ዩኒቨርስቲ በምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት ማዕረግ የጤናና ህክምና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ ቺፍ ኤክስኪውቲቭ ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ያደታ ደሴ በውይይቱ ላይ እንደተናገሩት ሐረር ከተማ ጨምሮ የሚሰጠው ይህ የጤና አገልግሎት ምስራቅ ሐረርጌ ዞን የሚገኙ ከተሞችን ጭምር የሚሸፍን መሆኑን ገልጸው ማዕከሉ ካሁን በፊት በአካባቢው ባለመኖሩ እና በቅንጅት ባለመሰራቱ ምክንያት ከፍተኛ የድንገተኛ አደጋዎች ጉዳት ሲደርስ እንደነበር ገልጸዋል።

በየግዜው በከፍተኛ ደረጃ ቁጥሩ እየጨመረ የሚገኝው ድንገተኛ አደጋዎች ለመቅረፍ የተጀመረው ፕሮግራም ወሳኝ ሚና እንዳለው ገልጸው የድንገተኛ እና ጽኑ ህሙማን እንክብካቤ ማሻሻያ ፕሮግራም (ሚኬር) ሐረር ከተማ እና ምስራቅ ሐረርጌ ዞን የሚገኙ የከተማ አመራሮች ትኩረት ሰተው መስራት እንዳለባቸው ተናግረዋል።

በድንገተኛ አደጋ ጉዳት የደረሰባቸው አካላት በህክምና ተቋማት ውስጥ የሚደርስባቸውን እንግልትን በማስቀረት በሰው ህይወት እና በንብረት ላይ የሚደርሰውን ጉዳት መቀነስ እንደሚያስችል ገልጸዋል።

ማዕከሉ ሰፊ ስራ የሚሰራ መሆኑን እና ትልቅ ሀብት የሚጠይቅ መሆኑን አንስተው ጤና ጥበቃ ሚኒስቴር ፣ ሐረማያ ዩኒቨርስቲ ሐረሪ ክልል እና ምስራቅ ሐረርጌ ዞን አመራሮች በቅንጅት በመስራት ለፕሮግራሙ ስኬታማነት በትጋት መስራት እንዳለባቸው ተናግረዋል።

በእስትሪም ኮሚቴ ስብሰባ ላይ የጤናና ህክምና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ እና የሐረሪ ክልል ጤና ጥበቃ ቢሮ አመራሮች እስካሁን ድረስ የተሰሩ ስራዎች እና ለወደፊት መሰራት ያለባቸው ስራዎች ዙሪያ ሪፓርት አቅርበው ሰፊ ውይይት ከተደረገ ቦሀላ ቀጣይ አቅጣጫዎችን በማስቀመጥ ተጠናቃል።

ሐረር ሚ-ኬር ሐረማያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጤናና ህክምና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ አስተባባሪነት የሐረሪ ክልል ጤና ቢሮ ፣ የሐረር ከተማ ማዘጋጃ ቤት እና ምስራቅ ሐረርጌ ዞን መስተዳደር በጋራ በጥምረት የሚሰራ ፕሮግራም መሆኑ ይታወቃል።

Coming Soon: The Medical Services General Directorate (MSGD) at FMoH has been preparing itself to host the first of its kind National Medical Services Technical Conference in Addis Ababa early September/2019. "Transforming The National Medical Services through actively engaging senior technocrats at all levels in All Ethiopian Public Health Institutions" will be the central agenda for this National Conference. All the necessary preparations to meet the possible expectations of this conference is undergoing meticulously. More than ever before, higher officials of the Ministry strongly believe that public health facilities, especially hospitals must be supported in all possible ways if improvement needs to be prevailed. Key stakeholders such as representatives from Hospitals, regional health bureaus, FMoH's Agencies and directorates, developing partners, professional and patient associations will attend this conference. All the proposed national interventions and support packages prepared by MSGD are ready for further discussions and inputs for enrichment before directly implementing them in 2012 E.F.Y. Unnecessary Hotel based trainings and workshops are completely banned, and replaced by more facility based mentorships, coachings, experience sharings and grant transfers for innovative QI project proposals from Hospitals are among the proposed interventions in addition to the regular technical, financial and material supports ready for our health facilities. In all approach, MSGD will actively and regularly involve senior experts, professional and patient associations, developing partners.

Ethiopian Hospitals Alliance for Quality has been reactivated!

It has been taking long distance to reach at the right conclusions and decisions through involving all the necessary technical experts for us to start third cycle EHAQ.
The focus area for the third cycle is Clean And Timely Care in Hospitals for Institutional Transformation (CATCH-IT) by actively involving all the relevant stakeholders,
Steering committees comprising of senior technical experts are estabished, project discription and all the necessary documents related to the focus area are approved and ready for implementation developed. From now on, we will regularly keep our followers updated the progress.
