Sisters of Charity Mission - Shire Follow what happens in the mission, including Kindergarten, Health Center and all projects related. The Sisters of Charity of St.

Jeanne Antida arrived in Ethiopia on the 13th November 2003 and since that time they developed their mission mainly in four directions:
• primary education with a Kindergarten;
• women promotion with an appropriate multi functions services;
• Health Care, with a Health Center;
• Social Help for poor people. All the services are offered to everyone without any difference in terms of nationality,

race, religion, etc.. In particular:
• The Kindergarten St. Jeanne Antide welcomes every year 400 children from the town and near villages; almost 30% of them do not pay any fee because of their extremely poor conditions. We offer a learning program according to the official guidelines from the Government but as well we include programs and topics from different cultures and education;
• The Blessed Nemesia Women Promotion Center provides training of Information Technology and Food/Beverage Preparation; in addition it takes care of very poor and ill women offering them opportunity of developing their skills and improve their condition of life.
• The St. Agostina Health Center started in 2004 as small Clinic and has been recently upgraded to Health Center in July 2014; it serves an average of 200 patients per day
