European Congress on Violence in Clinical Psychiatry

It is a biannual scientific congress arranged by Evipro Company in collaboration with the European Violence in Psychiatry Research Group (EViPRG) and the European Network for Training in the Management of Aggression (ENTMA). At ECVCP, we are dedicated to presenting clinically relevant and immediately applicable interdisciplinary scientific and practical knowledge. This knowledge is focused on prev

enting violence, aggression, and coercion, reducing their incidence and impact, managing their consequences, and understanding how and why they occur. The Congress’ purpose is to present the best available evidence that will be of use to anyone interested in the subject, be they clinicians, researchers, educators, policymakers, or mental health service users and carers. This evidence is presented and discussed through keynote speeches, oral and poster presentations, and workshops, and it continues during lively and relaxed social programs. We are delighted to announce that Krakow, Poland, will host the 13th European Congress on Violence in Clinical Psychiatry on November 7-8, 2024. This year's congress theme is “Towards violence—and coercion-free mental health care,” a reflection of our unwavering commitment to European and Global aims in developing rights-centered and ethically high-standard care.
