Savasana is not simply the end of the practice. It is where the practice is absorbed.

As the body rests and the mind becomes quiet, the nervous system has an opportunity to integrate what has just taken place. What has opened can remain open. What has strengthened can remain strong. The benefits of the practice have a chance to settle more deeply into the body and mind.

This is why we don't rush relaxation.

With skilled guidance and conscious support, Savasana becomes more than rest. It becomes a bridge between practice and daily life—a moment where effort gives way to ease, and ease reveals inner stillness.

For Nicola, yoga was never just about movement.

What began as a physical practice gradually became a lifelong study of healing, self-discovery, and living with greater awareness.

For more than two decades, Nicola has dedicated herself to the practice and teaching of yoga, guiding thousands of students through classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. As the owner of Purna Yoga Helsinki, her passion is creating a space where people feel supported, challenged, and truly seen.

Known for her precise teaching, warmth, and ability to recognize each student where they are, Nicola believes that yoga should be both practical and transformative — helping us move better, breathe more freely, and live with greater purpose.

Whether she is teaching a Healthy Back class, Pregnancy Yoga, Yoga Wall, Meditation, or leading a Teacher Training, her intention remains the same: to help people reconnect with their strength, their heart, and their authentic selves.

We are grateful for the vision, dedication, and care that Nicola brings to our community every day. 🤍

Some journeys begin with a plan. Others begin with a feeling.

Before Salla ever stepped into Purna Yoga Helsinki, she had a clear image of herself welcoming students into the studio. At the time, becoming a yoga teacher wasn't even a thought.

What first drew Salla to yoga was something many of us long for: peace.

When she discovered Purna Yoga, the words "Welcome Home" resonated deeply. Through her practice and teacher training, she realized that yoga is much more than physical postures — it is a path back to yourself.

Today, Salla shares that path with others through her warm presence and her ability to create spaces for deep rest and renewal.

✨ This autumn, Salla will be offering NeuroSound Journey — restorative 1:1 sessions combining Neurosonic vibration therapy, singing bowls, and live intuitive instruments.

✨ She will also teach weekly group Sound Bath classes, inviting you to pause, breathe, and immerse yourself in healing sound.

Some teachers naturally know how to make people feel seen and supported.
Jane brings that quality into every class she teaches.

Coming from the educational field and with a genuine love for working with families, Jane’s approach is warm, thoughtful, and deeply caring. She currently teaches Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Yoga at Purna Yoga Helsinki while continuing her studies in the Purna Yoga teacher training program.

Her classes offer a space to slow down, breathe, connect, and find support through the different stages of motherhood — with attention both to the physical body and emotional wellbeing.

And there may even be something new coming in the autumn… 👶🤍
A baby yoga class might join the schedule.
