”I should do my practice.”
Have you ever noticed how heavy that sentence feels?
For many of us, ”should” comes with a hidden message:
You’re behind.
You’re not doing enough.
You need to try harder.
No wonder it’s hard to roll out the mat.
But what if discipline didn’t have to feel like pressure?
What if practice could be something you return to because it nourishes you—not because you’re forcing yourself?
What’s the difference, for you, between discipline and pressure?
This is the theme of my upcoming online workshop:
✨ Yoga Practice as a Healthy Discipline
🗓 June 13th
🧘 Led Primary Series + discussion
We’ll explore how to cultivate consistency without turning practice into another obligation on an already full to-do list.
If you’d like the details, send me a message or email me at [email protected].
And if you’re not on my newsletter list yet, I’d love to have you there. That’s where I share upcoming classes, retreats, reflections on practice, and the occasional musing on life, yoga, and all the ways we humans make things more complicated than they need to be. 😊
