Steel is a versatile material that can be altered to fit different needs 👨🏻‍🔧

Steel is widely used in construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure due to its strength, durability, and versatility. It is made primarily of iron and carbon, with other elements such as manganese, silicon, and sulfur added in varying amounts to achieve desired properties.

After steel is produced, it must be processed further to achieve the desired properties for its intended use. This may include heat treatment, such as annealing, quenching, or tempering, to increase strength, toughness, or hardness. Surface treatments such as galvanizing or painting may also be applied to protect the steel from corrosion.

Regular carbon steel is a mixture of iron and carbon. It is usually more affordable and has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than stainless steel. Stainless steel, on the other hand, is an alloy of iron, chromium, and sometimes other elements such as nickel and molybdenum. It is highly corrosion-resistant, making it suitable for applications where it will be exposed to moisture or chemicals.

At Hero Mechanics we know how to handle both carbon steel and stainless steel. We shape the steel into precise and detailed small to medium sized parts. Always according to your wishes.

Mikäli tuntuu, että haluaisit työskennellä Herolla tankosorvauskeskuksilla ota ihmeessä yhteyttä. Työ on päivätyö joka ajoittuu välille 6.00-16.30 väliselle ajalle, siis sopivasti liukuva. Etsinnässä reipasotteinen kaveri joka haluaa oppia ja kehittyä työssään. Pääsääntöisesti valmistamme sorvattuja kappaleita suursarjatuotantona. Alan kokemus katsotaan eduksi.
