There are many different layers and aspects connected to our sense of wellbeing. The cause behind any imbalance may have started from a whole other area than what our current symptoms is showing us. Hence why it is important to understand that it can take a long time to find balance within ourselves, whilst navigating through the many different stages and areas of life.

Our whole system is interconnected to one another. Which means that our physical, mental and emotional state is in constant interaction with eachother, one influencing the next. Emotions exists on a more subtle level and can impact both our body and mind. 🦋

It is again a change in the season and since our body is connected to nature it will experience nature’s rythms in its own unique way 🌱.

The way we experience change (in for example the different seasons of the year) is according to the qualities that are the most predominant in you.

Changes in nature can bring forth different sensations in our body but also emotions inside of us which shows us what we still have to process or work with to remain in balance.

It is a delicate balance that is needed to take care of our body, mind and emotions.

Starting to observe and get to know yourself are keys that can with time open doors to a deeper understanding of life.

Hi, my name is Victoria 🌸
During the last 7 years I have been studying ayurveda and a method called Luxia Method®. My studies have not only been of a theoretical nature, even though it has been a part of my journey aswell. Both ayurveda and Luxia Method® is something I have tried to understand and integrate in myself, how they apply to my own life and system of functioning.

The Luxia Method® is a method which is used to transform one’s own negative emotions where as ayurveda has vast knowledge about the functioning of the body and mind, how sickness and imbalances manifests and how we can care for ourselves and others. Ayurveda teaches us about the body’s language and how different energies expresses themselves throughout the body. It also takes into consideration our emotional health but lacks (atleast in a way that is adapted for today’s western society) a tool in which we can in our daily life transform our different emotional states 🦋.

The emotional states that needs to be transformed is that of a negative nature since negative emotions drains our own energy and also influences both our body and mind, where as positive emotions lifts us up and encourages us towards a positive life and direction ☀️.

I am very grateful to these very dear methods and teachings that have crossed my path. They have helpt me in an immense way forward towards both a better understanding of myself, life and in my own spiritual endeavour, and they continue to do so. Since these two are very close to my own heart and a part of my life, it feels of utmost important to share this to other people and only hope that it can have the same positive effect on others as they have had on me. These two are therefore deeply incorporated in the way I work with others in 1 on 1 consultations and treatments but also in lectures and courses. Which will be more visible here in the near future 🩵.

We are currently in the season of wind, air element or the beautiful word for wind in sanskrit: vayu.

Wind governs motion, movement, change and is the main energy present in the current season. It will be present until the later part of the winter months which then will bring forth another energy inherent in the planet we live on.

The energy of air is light, cold, rough and unstable, it is also subtle, flexible, spontaneous and creative, which we can sense during the months of autumn and early winter. During these months these qualities will be enhanced in us, this is because our environment and surroundings (such as nature) are impacting us all the time. When these qualities comes to a height however it can cause an imbalance in our entire system resulting in various physical and mental symptoms.

The ayurvedic view of how we can bring balance during the different seasons of the year or the different seasons of our life is to invite into our lives more of the opposite qualities, rather than those that are currently most present.

To bring balance means; if the qualities that is mostly present at the moment are harsh, cold, unstable, light, dry and the primary function being motion. It would be wise to invite qualities into our lives that is soft, still, warm, stable and grounding, in order to feel balanced. It can be in the form of routines that enhances these qualities and food which is nourishing, grounding, moist and warm.

But overall we need to consider these qualities when we tend to ourselves. The stability we strive to create should not come from a place of performance but from a place of love. We can build our foundation, routines and how we care for ourselves and others from a place of softness, kindness and love. Then we will create balance for the movement that comes from the wind. The wind of change moves, flows and creates, these are the positive attributes of the air element. Creativity which comes from achievement or performance can easily "dry out" or deplete our system and ourselves. But the creative force that is rooted in love will instead nourish our entire being 🧘‍♀️💖

(🇸🇪⬇️) 🇬🇧 a little about what an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultation is:

🦋 During a first consultation, we go through different physical areas and your life situation in more detail to create an overall picture and understanding of you and how exactly your body works.

We go through the doshas and which dosha may be dominant in you. The doshas are the basis of the ayurvedic teaching and gives you an understanding of the underlying energetic structure that influences your physical body and personality.

🇬🇧 Vata, Pitta and Kapha are the three doshas that along with the elements form the core of what ayurveda teaches about. The doshas originates from the 5 elements: earth, water, fire, air and space and each dosha is made up of two elements. The doshas are energies and also the pillars of the body. In an imbalanced state they cause physical and mental symptoms.

To bring balance to our body and mind we balance the doshas, since they govern the functions of the body and mind. Therefore ayurveda is a holistic healing system since it views man from a whole perspective and not merely by physical symptoms.
It is by understanding the energy behind the symptom and by managing the cause that gives rise to the symptom that we can bring healing and balance within ourselves.
